Ann Coulter: Small-town Christians have more courage than GOP leaders

Columnist Ann Coulter said on the OReilly Factor that the media firestorm over Memories Pizza in Indiana shows that small-town owners of pizzerias have more Christian courage than most Christian leaders and certainly the Republican Party.

Following Indianas passage of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, the OConnor family in Walkerton, Indiana, said it would not cater gay weddings. The small business owners were forced to close down because of online vitriol and threats of violence.

Ms. Coulter said Republican leaders were falling like toy soldiers in attempts to win praise from The New York Times and other liberal commentators.

Where are the Christians and where are the Republicans? Im glad this Mike Pence isnt running for president. Theyre falling like toy soldiers, Ms. Coulter told Mr. OReilly, Mediaite reported Thursday.

The Fox host then said roughly 80 percent of Americans identify with Christianity, and the 2016 Republican Party nominee for president will need to stick up for individuals of faith.

The most important thing in your life and eternity is already taken care of. Go out and fight, Ms. Coulter said.
