Ann Coulter told to ‘kill yourself’ at Comedy Central Rob …

Ann Coulter was encouraged to commit suicide during Saturdays taping of The Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe.

Ann is one of the most repugnant, hateful, hatchet-face b----es alive, British comedian Jimmy Carr declared, as audience members cheered. Its not too late to change, Ann. You could kill yourself!

The conservative commentator eager to promote her new book, In Trump We Trust was one of nine celebrities invited to take pot shots at the star of The West Wing and St. Elmos Fire.

But it was Coulter, 54, who spent much of the evening in the hot seat at one point being labeled a two faced b----h and a transvestite whore.

Even Super Bowl hero Peyton Manning got in a few jabs, announcing, As you all know, earlier this year, Ann Coulter won the Kentucky Derby!

The event, hosted by Roastmaster David Spade, was taped at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, Calif. and featured NSFW routines by Manning, singer Jewel, Karate Kid actor Ralph Macchio, comic Nikki Glaser and Comedy Central star Jeffrey Ross.

Most joked about Lowes failed TV projects and the infamous sex tape he made with a 16-year-old girl in 1988.

But many of the evenings best zingers were aimed directly at Coulter.

David Spade: Ann hopes the Republicans can hold onto the House so she can still haunt it.

Peter Davidson: If you are here, Ann, who is scaring the crows away from our crops?

Jewel: As a feminist I cant support everything thats been said tonight. But as someone who hates Ann Coulter, Im delighted.

Ralph Macchio: I respect you. You are the one female commentator who is not afraid to stand up ... to take a leak.

Nikki Glaser: Ann, you are awful. The only person you will ever make happy is the Mexican who digs your grave.

Coulter sat expressionless through much of the evening and drew audible boos during her seven-minute set when she mentioned Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

I am so overwhelmed with the love in this room. she joked, attempting to lighten the mood.

As a right-wing hate-monger, it is fantastic to be at a big Hollywood shindig with all these glittering celebrities that isnt a fundraiser for Obama.

Earlier in the evening, Coulter told Fox411 she has never seen a celebrity roast and only agreed to appear on the program to promote her book.

There is nothing you can tell me to discourage me, she insisted. My whole career has been an Ann Coulter roast.

The Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe airs Monday, Sept. 5 on Comedy Central.

CULVER CITY, Calif. Actor Rob Lowe might have been the guest of honor at Comedy Central's roast Saturday night, but it was conservative pundit Ann Coulter who got burned the hardest at the annual no-holds-barredcelebrity diss-off.

But why was non-comedian Coulter on the Sony Pictures studiosstage in the first place, you might ask? Lowe answered that question backstage after three hours of insults were hurled at the show's taping. (The Roast of Rob LoweairsLabor Day on Comedy Central.)

"I think the best daises are the daises that have people where youre like what the (expletive)? You need every flavor to make these things go right and cut them all together for a show," he said.

For Coulter's part, she made her motives clear."Im only here for all the love and respect I have for Rob Lowe and all of the talented performers tonight," she said sarcastically. "It has nothing to do with the book I published four days ago."

And so, Coulter's presence in the room filled with a liberal-leaning Hollywood crowdshifted the focus of the material from Lowe whose sex tape, legal issues with nannies, failed TV shows and feminine features were all fodder for jokes toCoulter's general awfulness.

"I'd like to welcome everyone to the Ann Coulter roast with Rob Lowe," Coulter said, acknowledging her special attention.

Many of the insults aimed at Coulter are not appropriate for afamily-friendly website, but here are some jokes we can share:

"Ann Coulter wants to help Trump make America great again. You can start by wearing a burka. You have a face that would make doves cry," said roast veteran Jeff Ross, who was dressed in purple as Prince. "That voice, it's like fingernails on a chalkboard in an inner-city school you wanna defund," he said. "Ann's against gay marriage. What's your thinking on that? If I can't get a husband they shouldn't, either?"

Saturday Night Livecast memberPeteDavidson quipped,If you are here, Ann, who is scaring the crows away from our crops?

Former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning had a joke about her appearance, too: "I just realized that I'm not the only athlete up here tonight. As you all know, earlier this year Ann Coulter won the Kentucky Derby."

There were also lines about Coulter's political views."Ann Coulter has written 11 books, 12 if you countMein Kampf," said comedian Nikki Glaser. "Ann, you're awful. The only person you will ever make happy is the Mexican who digs your grave."

"She seems stiff and conservative, but Ann gets wild in the sheets. Just ask the Klan," said Roast Master David Spade. "It looks like shes having a good time. I havent seen her laugh this hard since Trayvon Martin got shot."

Folk singer Jewel won the crowd over with this:As a feminist I cant support everything thats been said tonight," she said, "but as someone who hates Ann Coulter, Im delighted.

But British comedian Jimmy Carr really let Coulter have it. He called her "repugnant," "hateful," and "hatchet-faced." "But it's not too late to change that," he said."You could kill yourself."

Lowe, who was a bit shaken at the end of the night after having to relive his troubled past in front of his family, didn't think any of the jokes were out of line. He likened the event to a professional sport. "If youre in the NFL, hit hard. This is the NFL, youre here to hit. There are other places to do soft jokes if youre on the Comedy Central Roast, you better bring yourA-game."

Ann Coulter Gets Destroyed by Comics at Rob Lowe Roast …

11:17 AM PDT 8/28/2016 by Ryan Parker

All the signs may have said it was the Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe, but Ann Coulter was the lightning rod for everyone's ire on Saturday night.

The conservative political commentator was torchedby one comedian after another, even being called a "racist c" by Saturday Night Live's Pete Davidson.

Ann Coulter is here. If you are here, Ann, who is scaring the crows away from our crops? said Davidson, who did not hide his disdain for Coulter throughout the evening.

The roast, which will air Labor Day on Comedy Central, featured Davidson, Coulter, Peyton Manning, Rob Riggle, Jewel, Jeff Ross, Jimmy Carr,Nikki Glaser, Ralph Macchio and roast master David Spade.

Everyone took shots at Coulter, even Manning, who was the only roaster to not cuss, naturally.

Im not the only athlete up here. As you know earlier this year, Ann Coulter won the Kentucky Derby, the retired future NFL Hall of Famer said.

Jewel, like Davidson before her, also did not try to mask her contempt for Coulter.

I do want to say as a feminist that I cant support everything thats been said tonight. But as someone who hates Ann Coulter, Im delighted, said Jewel, who performed her set with a guitar and closed with a rendition of "You Were Meant for Me" about being the underagedgirl in Lowe's infamous sex tape.

Coulter was given her chance to get some jabs in and was booed heavily by the audience when she made it clear she was there to plug her new book, In Trump We Trust. She even set a copy of the book on the lecternwhile she spoke.

Coulter noted it seemed like the evening was her roast, justfeaturingLowe.

She apologized to some of her fellow roasters, saying "they," as in Comedy Central, were "making me be mean."

At one point, she made a so-so joke about Davidson, which got a huge laugh when the camera cut to him saying "good one" in extremely sarcastic fashion.

Her biggest laugh line came when she said if there was only one person on the dais she hoped to convince to become a supporter of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, it was Macchio, so people would know he was still alive.

Coulter also took numerous shots at Hillary Clinton, Trump's opponent.

Her set got somewhat awkward when the teleprompter stopped working and Coulter had to ask repeatedly what the issue was with the person working the device.

She was given light applause after her set.

Following the roast, Lowe was asked by reporters why Coulter was a part of the dais.

"I think the best daises are daises where you're like, 'What the f,'" Lowe said, adding her reason for being there was in the joke he told when he closed the event, which was aboutright-to-lifers wanting everyone to see an abortion up close.

Coulter declined to comment after the taping.

Ann Coulter gets obliterated at Rob Lowes Comedy Central …

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

Sunday, August 28, 2016, 10:06 AM

Rob Lowe wasnt the only one to take some major heat at the actor's Comedy Central roast on Saturday.

Outspoken political commentator Ann Coulter was barraged with cruel comments and at one point was even urged to commit suicide throughout the unbridled war of words, regularly becoming the focal point of the jaw-dropping TV special.

"Ann is one of the most repugnant, hateful, hatchet-face b-----s alive," Jimmy Carr, a British comedian, matter-of-factly proclaimed during the roast, according to Fox News. "It's not too late to change, Ann. You could kill yourself!"

Coulter, 54, was one of nine big-name participants who joined the panel to take shots at Lowe throughout the evening.

But the tides quickly turned on the often-controversial conservative analyst, who recently released a new politically charged book titled "In Trump We Trust."

"Ann Coulter has written 11 books, 12 if you count Mein Kampf," comic Nikki Glaser deadpanned, according to USA Today. "Ann, you're awful. The only person you will ever make happy is the Mexican who digs your grave."

Legendary NFL quarterback Peyton Manning, meanwhile, didn't hold back as he hurled a pointed insult at Coulter as well.

"As you all know, earlier this year, Ann Coulter won the Kentucky Derby," the two-time Super Bowl champion joked.

But Coulter seemed to take in in stride, while making it very clear why she agreed to be on the show despite not having a history in comedy.

"I'm only here for all the love and respect I have for Rob Lowe and all of the talented performers tonight," she announced with evident sarcasm. "It has nothing to do with the book I published four days ago."

Even with the ambush on Coulter, Lowe wasn't unable to escape the roast without getting hit with some serious disses as well.

Many of the digs centered on the actor's failed TV gigs, while others focused on his infamous sex tape with a 16-year-old early on in his career.

But Lowe remained a good sport throughout.

"There are other places to do soft jokes if you're on the Comedy Central Roast, you better bring your A-game," he said.

Lowe's roast airs on Sept. 5.

Ann Coulter’s New Book, ‘In Trump We Trust,’ Comes Out Right …

Donald Trump has just betrayed Ann Coulter. Which is a dangerous thing to do.

This week, Coulter released her new book, In Trump We Trust. As the title suggests, its a defense of Trump. But more than that, its a defense of Trumpism. Most Trump surrogates contort themselves to defend whatever The Donald says, no matter its ideological content. Theyre like communist party functionaries. They get word from the ideologists on high, and regurgitate it as best they can.

There's Simply No Equivalence

Coulter is different. Shes an ideologist herself. She realized the potency of the immigration issue among conservatives before Trump did. On June 1 of last year, she released Adios America, which devotes six chapters to the subject of immigrants and rape. Two weeks later, Trumphaving received an advanced copyfamously picked up the thread in his announcement speech.

Since then, theyve been allies. But unlike many Trump defenders, Coulter makes clear that her primary allegiance is not to Trump the man. Its to the nostalgic Make America White Again brand of conservatism that she began peddling even before he did. In In Trump We Trust, Coulter calls Trump a tasteless, publicity-seeking, coarse billionaire and argues that, the one thing voters werent wild about was his personality.

The secret of Trumps success, she argues, has been ideological. He recognized that Americans, by which she mostly means Republicans, are homesick. They dont just oppose immigration because they believe it depresses wages and strains government services. Theyre homesick for a whiter America, an America that was once truly free because its not in the Anglo-Saxon character either to take orders or to give them. (Never mind about slavery.) Since 1965, however, when Lyndon Johnson signed legislation allowing more immigration from Latin America, Asia, and Africa, the United States has been, according to Coulter in In Trump We Trust, overrun by illiterate peasants who can be instructed to learn certain symbols and bloc-vote for the Democrats. In response, Democrats, along with rich Republicans, keep the doors open to non-European immigration, and thus America has grown browner and shorter. (Thats Coulters description from Adios America). Corruption rises. So does terrorism and rape.

Coulters ideological interpretation of Trumps appeal is plausible. It explains, for instance, why support for Trump correlates more strongly to racial resentment than economic misfortune.

Trump may win votes by moderating his stance on immigration. But thats not how Coulter sells books.

Coulters problem is that on the very week shes unveiled her immigration-themed defense of Trumpism, Trump himself has begun jettisoning it. On Wednesday night, he admitted that its very, very hard to deport all the undocumented immigrants in the country and implied that he would be open to some people being allowed to stay legally without becoming citizens, provided they pay back taxes. Suddenly, Trump is flirting with an immigration policy that resembles that of every other Republican who ran for president. Which makes Coulter look like a dupe. On Thursday on his show, Rush Limbaugh had a hearty laugh at her expense.

So far, Coulter has responded in contradictory ways. Shes fired off tweets attacking Trumps immigration shift. But shes also downplayed it.

Maybe Coulter, like the other high-profile supporters Trump has burned, will accept her humiliation and resort to defending Trump no matter what he says. Her incentives, however, are different. Unlike most of the folks who appear on television supporting Trump, she has an independent brand. And its built on white nationalism. Trump may win votes by moderating his stance on immigration. But thats not how Coulter sells books.

Coulter also needs an explanation for Trumps likely defeat, an explanation that will preserve her ability to claim that Americas silent majority believes the things she does. By emphasizing Trumps immigration flip-flop, Coulter could argue that this issue cost him the white votes he needed to win.

Trumpisma brand of conservatism defined above all by white racial nostalgiawill survive Novembers election. Less clear is whether Trump will remain its champion or become its fall guy. Like many people Trump has done business with, Coulter has learned that trusting Trump is not the wisest of investments.
