CHARLESTON, S.C., July 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --Palladian View announced today that it will host the 2013 Bridging the Gap Women's Summit on August 23-24 at the PURE Theatre in downtown Charleston. The Summit will bring together 150 of the nation's most influential conservative women to address how the Republican Party can better appeal to women voters and cultivate female leadership.
One of the keynote speakers will be Ann Coulter, author of nine New York Times bestsellers. Coulter is a frequent guest on many national television and radio shows, and she writes a popular syndicated column for Universal Press Syndicate.
The other keynote speaker will be Star Parker, founder and president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE), a think tank that promotes market-based public policy to fight poverty. She is a sought-after policy expert on Capitol Hill and also a regular guest on national radio and television and has authored several books. Parker's columns can be read on Townhall.com.
"The Republican Party needs to invest in female leadership if it wants to bridge the gap with women voters. We plan to leave this summit with tangible solutions on how to accomplish that goal," said Karen Floyd, publisher of Palladian View and event founder. This event is aimed at guiding the Republican Party in the right direction towards growing female voters and cultivating female leadership.
The Summit will feature panels of leading Republican women to discuss ways to grow the Party. Floyd added, "The women we invited for these panels are experts in their fields. They're elected officials, business owners, policy experts and political activists. We want all voices to be heard, and the time for us to act is now."
