Uber's Travis Kalanick resigned as CEO on Tuesday, following a personal tragedy and a string of scandalous allegations at his company.
Kalanick had hired the law firm of former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to investigate the allegations. In the report released last week, Holder's team proposed 47 recommendations, including the establishment of a board oversight committee, rewriting Uber's cultural values, reducing alcohol use at work events and prohibiting intimate relationships between employees and their bosses.
On Wednesday Holder attended Gateway '17, a small business conference in Detroit presented by Alibaba (: ). He told CNBC in an interview at the event that he's very hopeful for Uber's future and the company's prospects for enacting some real change.
When asked if he thought all his recommendations would be put into place, Holder said absolutely. He said the board was very serious during its seven-hour meeting last week.

Peter Navarro ‘Could Be in Prison Within Less Than 60 Days’ – Mediaite
Peter Navarro, the former trade adviser and assistant to former President Donald Trump, told Newsmax host Eric Bolling on Tuesday that he could be in prison within less than 60 days after being sentenced to 4 months in jail for contempt of Congress.
During an appearance on Bollings showThe Balance, Navarro said:
If folks like me, the highest advisers to the president, cant provide the president with confidential information without worry of having it leaked over to a partisan legislature, he wont get the best information, and he has to be protected too. So, I have said from the outset on this show that I fully expect this case to go to the Supreme Court. We appealed it within minutes of the prison sentence.
Navarro continued, But I could be in prison within less than 60 days. Thats what the government, the Biden regime, the Merrick Garland Department of Justice wants. Well see what the judge has to say about it, but I think its important to point out that Im the first senior White House aide ever charged with this crime in the history of our republic.
After Bolling interrupted, Didnt Eric Holder get charged with it as well? Navarro replied, Eric Holder was not a senior adviser to the president subject to the kind of executive privilege I am.
