Showing Suite, Inc. announces they will provide their showing feedback and management software to Calaveras County Association of REALTORS MLS. As a collaborative effort between Showing Suite, CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATON OF REALTORS, and Calaveras County Association of REALTORS (CCAR), this partnership will provide the free Showing Suite MLS system to all CCAR members.

At CCAR we are very excited to offer Showing Suite to our members. Showing Suites free MLS version made the decision an easy one. Specifically, their management platform and ease of access for scheduling showings are a few things that will be great member benefits and we are happy to incorporate them. We like to be on the lookout for new technologies to incorporate that will be right for our association and feel like we have found just that.

Showing Suite will integrate with CCARs MLS platform, Core Logic Innovia. A Schedule a Showing button will now be displayed on all their listing pages where buyers agents can schedule a showing right within the MLS. The free MLS edition comes equipped with email confirmations for scheduled showings. Agents can also add contact information, create showing tours and maps, ask questions to the listing agent and give buyers access to Showing Note.

All CCAR members will have the option of upgrading to Showing Suite Ultimate where they will have the added capabilities of call and text confirmations for showings. The Ultimate edition also comes with Showing Suites award winning Home Feedback system. Home Feedback links directly to the lockbox to send automated showing feedback requests to those who have done showings. The seller, buyers agent, and listing agent Showing Suite portal also gives the ability to see feedback statistics and give valuable feedback to sellers to help with any necessary changes that need to be made to the listing.

Since Showing Suites system is designed to work with the MLS, the MLS integration is an easy one. This provides for a smooth transition when any agent wants to upgrade and incorporate the time saving structures designed by Showing Suite. Designed by REALTORS specifically for real estate professionals, Showing Suite is an obvious choice due to its ability to work seamlessly with the whole home selling process.

Each year, millions of people have their taxes prepared for free. The IRSs Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) or and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs have helped people for more than 40 years.

Trained and certified. The IRS works with local community groups to train and certify VITA and TCE volunteers.

VITA Program. VITA generally offers free tax return preparation to people who earn $53,000 or less.

TCE Program. TCE is mainly for people age 60 or older. The program specializes in tax issues unique to seniors. AARP participates in the TCE program and helps people with low to moderate incomes.

Free E-file. VITA and TCE provide free electronic filing. E-filing is the safest, most accurate way to file your tax return. Combining e-file with direct deposit is the fastest way to get your refund.

Tax benefits. Using VITA and TCE can help you get all the tax benefits for which you are eligible. For example, you may qualify for the earned income tax credit or the credit for the elderly. You can also get help with the new health care law tax provisions.

Bilingual help. Some VITA and TCE sites provide bilingual help for people who speak limited English.

Help for military. VITA offers free tax assistance to members of the military and their families. Volunteers help with many military tax issues. These may include the special rules and tax benefits that apply to those serving in combat zones.

Self-prep option. At some VITA sites, you can prepare your own federal and state tax returns using free web-based software. This is an option if you dont have a home computer or need much help. Volunteers are on site to guide you if you need help. In most cases, this option offers free tax return preparation software and e-filing to people who earn $60,000 or less.

Local sites. The IRS partners with community organizations to offer free tax services at thousands of sites around the nation. Sites start to open in late January and early February.
