George Zimmerman Is to Auction the Gun Used to Kill Trayvon Martin, Reports Say – Yahoo Movies Canada
George Zimmerman plans to auction the gun he used to shoot and kill unarmed Florida teenager Trayvon Martin in 2012, according to multiple media reports.
WOFL FOX 35 says that it was told by the former neighborhood-watch volunteer that the Department of Justice recently returned the weapon. Im a free American, he said, I can do what I want with my possessions.
Somebody signed George M. Zimmerman has listed the Kel-Tec PF-9 9-mm on a firearms-auction website. The seller describes the gun as an American Firearm Icon and says it was used against Trayvon Martin on Feb. 26, 2012, the night of the violent attack that sparked a national debate about violence and race. Zimmerman said he acted in self-defense and was eventually acquitted of manslaughter and murder charges.
The auction statement promises a portion of the sale will be used to fight BLM violence against Law Enforcement officers, in a presumable reference to the Black Lives Matter movement, and also to combat Hillary Clintons anti-firearm rhetoric.

After months of public outcry, there was a major break Wednesday (April 11) in the tragic shooting death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin: Triggerman George Zimmerman was charged with murder in the second degree.
Special prosecutor Angela Corey announced the charges during a press conference in Jacksonville, Florida, just a half-hour after it was reported that Zimmerman turned himself in to authorities. Zimmerman was arrested and now is in an undisclosed location.
Martin's February 26 death sent shockwaves through the nation. Zimmerman, a neighborhood watchman, saw 17-year-old Trayvon walking through his gated community in Sanford, Florida, and immediately grew suspicious of the teen, who was wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
