Possibly for the first time in the history of modern media, a private investigator (PI) complained to the authorities about being stalked.

According to NBC, PI Dennis Warren got 55 calls, 67 text messages, 36 voicemails and 27 emails from Zimmerman.

Reports NBC with a straight face, Zimmerman allegedly also threatened to feed the investigator to an alligator, the court papers show.

I am embarrassed that I didnt rise above their entrapment, Zimmerman told WND, and do as the Bible has taught me, turn the other cheek.

Perhaps, Zimmerman adds, I should have done what Mr. Warren did and filed a protective order against his harassment of myself and my family.

In the way of background, a year ago producer Harvey Weinstein remember him? and Shawn Jay-Z Carter announced the production of a docu-series titled Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story.

PI Dennis Warren was hired by the duo to recruit people close to the story of Martins death at George Zimmermans hands in Sanford, Florida, in 2012.

Savagely attacked by Martin, Zimmerman shot the 17-year-old to save his life.

From the beginning, the media refused to tell the truth about the little boy who just happed to be an aspiring MMA fighter nearly half a foot taller than Zimmerman.

Martin was high at the time he attacked Zimmerman. A burglary tool was found next to his body. Martin had been suspended from school earlier in the year after being apprehended with stolen jewelry and a different burglary tool.

Like Nikolas Cruz at Parkland, Martin was spared the criminal justice system in a misguided attempt to balance the racial demographics of those arrested. The media shared none of this with the public.

Nor did the media mention that at the time of the shooting Zimmerman was a civil rights activist, a mentor to two black teens, and an Obama supporter.

The media put a target on Zimmermans back well before Zimmerman was even arrested. The New Black Party openly offered a $10,000 bounty for Zimmermans head in 2012, and Obamas DOJ said nothing.

Ever since then, Zimmermans family members and a few of his close friends have had to live very guarded lives. According to Zimmerman, Warren used a variety of subterfuges to circumvent security and approach these people.

After Warren located Zimmermans brother living anonymously in Virginia and sneaked into the gated community where Zimmermans uncle lived, Zimmerman decided to turn the tables on Warren and harass him back.

No way did I want them to know where I or my parents lived, says Zimmerman. I can take the heat, but leave my parents and family alone.

Zimmerman is hardly being paranoid. He is routinely insulted, occasionally assaulted, and in 2015 he survived an assassination attempt by inches. The would-be assassin is now serving 20 years in prison.

Despite the provocation, Zimmerman regrets treating Warren the way he did. My family and my loved ones have been through enough, he says. Its time I let my attorneys handle these matters so that I can move on with a private, productive future.

The misdemeanor charge against Zimmerman comes to court on May 30. Without question, says Zimmerman, they did this to generate publicity for June or July launch [of the docu-series]. It is much cheaper than ads.

It is highly unlikely that Rest in Power will tell the truth about what happened in Sanford, Florida, on Feb. 26, 2012.

The series is based largely on the book Suspicion Nation by NBC legal correspondent Lisa Bloom. The book is a joke.

In Blooms retelling, Zimmerman feared black men and profiled the 17 year-old Martin for no reason other than his race. Only by fully ignoring Zimmermans civil-rights work does Bloom make this claim seem remotely plausible.

As Bloom tells the story, Zimmerman follows Martin after the officer tells him not to. He confronts Martin. He grabs or shoves him. A frightened Martin punches Zimmerman. A tussle ensues.

It is not particularly significant who is on top. Zimmerman pulls the gun, points it at Martin, and continues his profane insulting rant for 40 seconds during which time Martin screams aaah in fear. An angry, panicky Zimmerman shoots and kills Martin.

To make this nonsensical theory work, Bloom overlooks major chunks of evidence and makes stunning mistakes on the evidence she does present.

If Jay-Z sticks to the book, the real crime is likely to be the docu-series itself. Harvey Weinstein may have left the production, but his spirit of fair play seems to linger on.

Like an annoying cockroach, or possibly a bad fungus, George Zimmerman is hard to shake.

He is a horrible human being, but you knew that.

I am taking my chances here, since Georgie Boy does not take kindly to criticism, and has the court records to prove it.

In his latest contentious dustup, Zimmerman has been charged with stalking a private investigator. The man was working with an executive producer about a documentary series on Trayvon Martin. It was a collaborative effort with rapper Jay Z, according to court records.

Zimmerman quickly went off the rails, sending the producer, Michael Gasparro, threatening messages, according to the arrest warrant.

[The private investigator] is a [expletive] WHO BOTHERED MY UNCLE IN HIS HOME. Local OR former law officer Hes well on his way to the inside of a gator as well. 10-4? Zimmerman wrote to Gasparro, using the police code to ask if he understood or acknowledged the message.

It didnt stop there. Between Dec. 16, 2017, and Christmas Day, the private investigator told deputies he got 55 phone calls, 67 text messages, 36 voicemails and 27 emails from Zimmerman, records show.

Zimmerman has been charged with misdemeanor stalking. Im assuming the alleged gator/accomplice is still on the lam.

Whatever.

All I know is that I am sick of Zimmerman, and his stale act of not getting along well with others. It escalated into tragedy on February 26, 2012, when Martin, a black teen-ager, died following a confrontation with Zimmerman. A jury found Zimmerman not guilty of second-degree murder in the summer of 2013.

Zimmerman should have cashed in his chips that day after winning the legal lottery. By legal standards, the jury got it right based on the evidence that was presented. By moral standards, many of us convicted Zimmerman of being a deplorable human being, at the very least.

Still, most reasonable people have tried to move on past the anger, despair and confrontational name-calling when evoking Zimmermans name. Unfortunately, George Zimmerman is not one of them.

Hes amassed quite the legal and confrontational resume, which includes a charge of felony aggravated assault after allegedly pointing a shotgun at his girlfriend, to challenging a rapper to fight in a Celebrity Boxing match.

If Georgie Boy had any sense, he would deal with his anger management issues by laying low. Its done wonders for Casey Anthony, who joins him as one of the most dubious members of Orlandos Hall of Shame. She also wiggled free after standing trial in 2011 for the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. But at least Anthony had the good sense to jettison herself into a self-imposed Witness Protection Program.

We havent heard much from her, have we? The Tot Mom pops up in an occasional paparazzi snapshot, including a TMZ.com sighting at an Irish pub in West Palm Beach last month. She was wearing a baseball cap, and chatted up a few drunk guys. No one was harmed in the short video clip.

Thats the ticket.

Incognito. Lay low. Out of sight, out of mind.

Not Georgie Boy.

Like that pesky cockroach, Zimmerman is always a step ahead of the big sandal bearing down on him. Annoying little fella, isnt he?

Eventually, if Zimmerman continues with his propensity for confrontation, I suspect the sandal is going to catch up to him.

I also suspect not too many people will care.

The brief news item about an unarmed 17-year-old from Miami Gardens shot dead while visiting his father in Sanford, Florida, caught my critics eye from Day 1. As details unfolded Trayvon Martin was walking back home from a convenience store with nothing but a can of Arizona Iced Tea and Skittles in his pockets on a rainy night when he encountered the neighborhood watchman I knew something sinister had occurred.

You see, not long before that, I had driven into my neighborhood well past midnight and seen my young son-in-law jogging carefree. I should say here, my young, white son-in-law. He had been doing this every night, he told me, to exercise and let off steam after his long cooks shift.

Arent you afraid? I asked.

Why? he said.

Has anyone in the neighborhood or the gate guard asked what youre doing out at this hour?

Nope.

And the one thing that occurred to me at that moment was that, had this been my African-American son-in-law out at midnight, the police wouldve been called to inquire who he was and what he was doing.

Trayvon was black; the wanna-be cop Zimmerman, a white Hispanic.

The Trayvon Martin murder case has always been about prejudice and rage and the deadly results when the two combine.

But it was tough to prove beyond a reasonable doubt to a Central Florida jury that George Zimmerman harbored those feelings and acted upon them when he stalked, confronted, and shot to death a teenager minding his own business, being where he belonged, in his fathers neighborhood.

Five years after his acquittal, Zimmerman has eluded justice but not his killing of Trayvon and certainly not who he is. All of these years, Zimmerman has been showing us that hes an angry, prejudiced man who got away with murder.

He has been involved in road rage and domestic violence acts against the women in his life, who, scared to death, later fail to follow through and charges are dropped. He flaunts his Confederate flag paintings and associations with white nationalist types who donated money to his defense and personal upkeep.

He stalked Trayvon, and now, he has been charged with stalking and harassing private investigator Dennis Warren, hired by the company Cinemart Productions to track down people to participate in a documentary about Trayvons death.

After Zimmerman learned his family had been contacted, Warren says, he received 21 phone calls, 38 text messages, and seven voicemails in just over two hours from Zimmerman, most of them threatening and belligerent.

Warren asked Zimmerman to stop, as police advised him, but he continued, texting an article in which he was quoted as saying: "I know how to handle people who f--- with me, I have since February 2012 [when he killed Trayvon]." And: "Anyone who f---s with my parents will be fed to an alligator."

And heres another gem Zimmerman sent to the documentarys producer in an apparent threat to harm Warrens wife: "Help Mrs. Warren out and give him a heads up, I'm going to find him. And I'm bringing hell with me." He also said Warren was "on his way to the inside of a gator as well. 10-4?"

Called by a female Seminole County sergeant who also intervened in his domestic violence cases, he called her a whore and worse.

You f------ c---, what do you want?

What are you calling me for you f------ whore?

And, instead of showing remorse for the life he took, Zimmerman referred to Trayvon in a derogatory manner as the Martin kid. Scheduled for arraignment May 30, Zimmerman seems even more emboldened these days to act like the thug he is. One can only hope that he doesn't beat this rap as easily as all the others, but it's only a misdemeanor charge.

Zimmerman killed somebodys son, somebodys brother in a state that gives too many rights to people who dont value all life equally. These are the same people who play the rhetoric game against Planned Parenthood but support people who shoot their guns when its not a last-resort action, not a matter of self-defense, as Zimmerman alleged.

Zimmerman had many opportunities to retreat and didnt. He was told not to engage Trayvon and he did. He's had opportunities to rebuild his life for the good and hasn't.

Weve seen all these years the rage that gripped him when he stalked the black teenager, covering his head from the rain with a hoodie, for merely looking suspicious.

People will say that what can be surmised by all of this post-verdict behavior falls in the hindsight-is-20-20 category, but this same Zimmerman was there since the beginning of this case for all who cared to look beyond the Georgie persona his family built.

And it will stand as a stain on the Florida justice system that the jury didnt see it.

George Zimmerman has been charged with stalking and harassing a private investigator who contacted him about a documentary series on Trayvon Martin, theblack teenagerwhom Zimmerman shot and killed in Sanford, Fla., in February 2012.

The charges, which were delivered to Zimmerman through a summons Thursday, allege that he willfully, maliciously and repeatedly cyberstalked and harassed the private investigator, who had contacted Zimmerman in September on behalf of Michael Gasparro, who produced the film series alongside the rapper Jay-Z, according to court documents.

The private investigator told Seminole County Sheriffs Office deputies that he sent Zimmerman a text message and left him a voice mail last September, explaining the film series and asking Zimmerman if he wanted to be involved. The private investigator also gave Zimmerman Gasparros number, and Zimmerman called Gasparro shortly after. According to court documents, they chatted about the documentary, which will be about Martins life and death, for which Zimmerman was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter. On July 13, 2013, Zimmerman wasacquitted by a Florida jury.

Outside of the initial text and voice mail, the private investigator made no further attempts to speak or meet with Zimmerman, deputies wrote in a warrant request.

Then, on Dec. 13, the private investigator heard from Zimmerman. Gasparro called the private investigator to tell him that Zimmerman was extremely agitated and sending Gasparro threatening messages, according to the warrant request.

A few days later, Zimmerman began contacting the private investigator directly. About 21 phone calls, 38 text messages and seven voice mails were sent to him in just over a 2 1/2-hour period. Threats included expletives and statements such as, Ill see you before you realize it, according to the warrant request. The private investigator, concerned about his safety and that of his family, contacted the sheriffs office.

A deputy wrote in the warrant request that he advised the private investigator to send Zimmerman a single text message, asking him to stop contacting him and that if he didnt, the private investigator would involve law enforcement officials.

The private investigator sent the message, to which Zimmerman responded No! and Pursue charges, according to the warrant request. Text me again, Ill show up at your home you [expletive]!!!

The private investigator also told deputies that Zimmerman senthim a link to a news article on TheBlast.com in which he was quoted as saying, I know how to handle people who f with me, I have since February of 2012. The comment was a reference to Martins killing.

The article also quotes Zimmerman as saying Anyone who f***s with my parents will be fed to an alligator. It wasnt Zimmermans first alligator-related threat toward someone involved with the documentary: He made a similar threat to Jay-Z himself.

What I said is I would beat him as if I was Solange, and he would find himself coming out of the south side of a gator if he comes to Florida and bothers my family, Zimmerman told the Orlando Sentinel in December. He was referencing how Solange Knowles, the sister of Beyonc who is married to Jay-Z was captured in an elevator surveillance video hitting Jay-Z after the 2014 Met Gala.

Between Dec. 16, 2017, and Christmas Day, the private investigator received55 phone calls, 67 text messages, 36 voice mails and 27 emails from Zimmerman, according to the warrant request. This led sheriffs Sgt. Shannon Seiple who had met Zimmerman before to give him a call on Jan. 3, to confirm that the calls and messages were coming from him.

Zimmerman answered, asking Who is this? according to the warrant request. Seiple identified herself, to which Zimmerman responded, You [expletive], what do you want! and What are you calling me for you [expletive]! according to the warrant request. Seipleexplained that she was calling in reference to Zimmermans calls to the private investigator. Zimmerman continued to scream profanity, according to the warrant request.

You are the [expletive] blond [expletive] who arrested me on Samantha! Zimmerman allegedly told Seiple. You have been involved with me since that Martin kid!

The sheriffs deputies confirmed that it was Zimmerman who was on thephone and requested that he be charged, according to court documents.

Since his 2013 acquittal, Zimmerman has been embroiled in public controversies. One example came in October 2015, when he retweeted a photograph of Trayvon Martins slain body. The original tweet read Z-man is a one-man army. Following media outrage, Zimmerman claimed that he wasnt aware the tweet included a photograph, according to The Washington PostsTravis M. Andrews.
