Vandals defaced a highway sign on Long Island by adding three letters, making the sign read Crooked Hillary, the name President Donald Trump coined for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election.

The sign on Sagtikos Parkway in suburban New York City normally designates the exit for Crooked Hill, but on Wednesday morning, someone reported to the New York State Department of Transportation that three letters A-R-Y had been added at the end of the name, Newsday reported.

A Department of Transportation spokesperson said that as soon as we were notified about the graffiti it was removed.

Defacing public signs is illegal, the representative said.

Local reports did not say if officials know who is responsible for defacing the sign. The New York State Department of Transportation did not immediately respond to TheBlaze on Friday.

As recently as Thursday, Trump took to Twitter to again refer to Clinton as crooked.

Crooked H destroyed phones w/ hammer, bleached emails, & had husband meet w/AG days before she was cleared- & they talk about obstruction? the president tweeted.

The tweet came as news broke that special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating Trump personally for possible obstruction of justice. Critics of the president say Trump inappropriately intervened in the FBIs investigation into fired White House national security adviser Michael Flynn by telling now-fired FBI Director James Comey, I hope you can let this go.

Comey said during congressional testimony last week that he interpreted the presidents statement about the Flynn investigation as a directive.

When the Grim Reaper comes for Trump, he will ask why, oh why, cant it be Crooked Hillary dying instead of him. And the Grim Reaper will reveal itself to actually beClinton, Noah quips.

Noah was responding to Trumps tweets earlier in the day that expressed astonishment that he is apparently being investigated by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Why is [it] that Hillary Clintons family and Dems dealings with Russia are not looked at, but my non-dealings are? Trump wondered.

Cant get enough of those random tweets? Fear not. The Daily Show will display Trumpsgreatest tweets for three days beginning Friday at its tongue-in-cheek pop-up Trump Twitter Library, just steps from Trump Tower in Manhattan. The exhibit is free and open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

Wonder Woman is unstoppable. Not only is the superhero movie breaking box office records , but it has some seriously high-profile fans willing to sing its praises. Exhibit A: Oprah. Exhibit B: Hillary Clinton.

During a video message shared at the Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Clinton put her support behind the iconic superhero. And although she admitted she hasn't yet had the chance to watch the film, that doesn't mean she's any less of a fan.

"No, I haven't seen Wonder Woman yet, but I'm going to, in part because it's directed by the fabulous Patty Jenkins ," Clinton said. "But something tells me that a movie about a strong, powerful woman fighting to save the world from a massive international disaster is right up my alley," she continued, to general laughter. Her Wonder Woman homage was part of her message to actor, director and supporter Elizabeth Banks , who was receiving an award for Excellence in Film during the evening.

Michelle Obama and Senator Kamala Harris also sent in video messages to support award recipients Banks and Tracee Ellis Ross during the course of the evening.

Donald Trump remains bizarrely obsessed with his former political opponent Hillary Clinton, frequently calling her out and attacking her on Twitter, despite the fact thatlike it or notits now been seven months since he beat Clinton in the 2016 election, and it might be time to move on and try to actually lead the country. Just today, Trump lashed out at the former secretary of state on Twitter, demanding to know why hes been under such harsh investigation for potential Russian collusion, rather than her and her family. (Because youre the one whos president, you petty orange tyrant apparently not having been brought up as a potential motivation for the heightened scrutiny.)

Trumps ongoing obsession was apparently so annoying that it brought one of Clintons old Twitter accounts back from the grave, with @TheBriefing2016a meme-heavy official account devoted to refuting Trumps various campaign falsehoodsmaking its first tweet tonight since November 7, 2016. And while the Clinton camps use of social media never had quite the same screaming edgelord shitpost fervor as Trumps, The Briefings response to Trumps continual political priapism was honestly kind of perfect:

Ill never understand why Hollywood loves Hillary Clinton so much. Sure, shes a total fake, just like they are. But unlike her, theyre successful at it.

Failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Tuesday night compared herself favorably to comic and movie heroine Wonder Woman during a video appearance at a glitzy Beverly Hills awards show.

Clinton appeared in a 95-second video on behalf of actress Elizabeth Banks, a friend and supporter of Clinton who was being honored at the Women in Film Los Angeles Crystal + Lucy Awards.

As comic-book fans remember, Diana Prince married Steve Trevor back in the 70s, and then he went into politics and spent decades banging every other woman in sight. Eventually he went all the way to the White House, where he carried on an affair with intern Etta Candy (Blue Dress, Red Rage, Wonder Woman #347). Diana stayed with Steve the whole time, strictly for political reasons. She even helped him malign the many, many women he left in his wake. Then she tried to ride Steves coattails and run for president herself, but she failed twice because she was a bad person and an even worse candidate. The only reason she could give voters to elect her was that shed be the first POTUS with a vagina, and it just wasnt enough. She was just that personally repellent.

Comics, right? The crazy stories those nerds come up with.
