Hillary Clinton Reveals at Least One of Her Guilty Pleasures

Hillary Clinton has some guilty pleasures. Though we may never know all of them.

During a lighthearted moment today at a health care conference in Washington, D.C., Clinton was asked what her guilty pleasure was.

It took some pondering. Eventually the moderator said, "Are there that many?" To which Hillary replied, "No, I'm just trying to think of some G-Rated ones."

After some audience laughter, she shared one, but conceded it was a little boring.

"Chocolate," she admitted. "I hate to be so predictable but chocolate."

Later in the Q&A at the National Council for Behavioral Health conference, Clinton also drew laughs when asked what role Congress should play in naming her grandchild.

"Given what's going on, the poor child would never get a name!" Clinton joked, adding it would probably be called "Baby" until it went to college.

The potential presidential candidate also spoke about her thought process as she contemplates a decision to run in 2016. When asked what she'd be giving up to run for president, Clinton said: "That's a very good question," because "obviously I am thinking about that right now."

Clinton drew parallels between the lengthy decision-making process she went through when determining if she should run for the Senate and accept the Secretary of State position, to her current state of mind.

"I am somebody who really has to mull things over because there is a cost to everything," Clinton said.

Hillary Clinton to Stump for Chelseas Mother-in-Law

Chelsea Clintons mother-in-law is about to get some political love from her mother. Hillary Clinton is scheduled to headline a fundraiser May 15 for Marjorie Margolies, who is trying to win back a House seat in Pennsylvania.

Ms. Margolies, whose son, Marc Mezvinsky, is married to Chelsea, is battling in a competitive Democratic primary election to win an open House seat around Philadelphia. She served in the House in 1992-94 but lost her seat after casting a deciding vote for President Bill Clintons 1993 budget. The vote was controversial because the budget included a tax increase that was a central campaign issue against her and other Democrats in the 1994 midterm election.

Mr. Clinton has already campaigned for Ms. Margolies, in a mid-April fundraiser in Philadelphia where he declared his appearance was not just a family matter for him. I would be here even if her son werent my son-in-law, he said.

An aide to Mrs. Clinton confirmed her plans to attend the Manhattan fundraiser for Ms. Margolies, which was first reported by Politico. It marks Mrs. Clintons first political activity of 2014, as speculation about her expected run for president in 2016 intensifies.

One of Ms. Margoliess primary opponents in the heavily Democratic district has tried to turn her Clinton connection into a political liability. State Sen. Daylin Leach has run a campaign ad featuring his daughter Brennan, who comments on a clip of Mr. Clinton speaking as president. He seems like a great guy, but everything hes talking about happened in the past way before I was born, she said. While some cling to the past, we just cant go backwards.

Clinton Joke: Don't Let Congress Name My Grandchild

Just how dysfunctional does Hillary Clinton think Congress is right now?

So bad that it would take around 18 years for them to decide on a baby name for her forthcoming grandchild.

"Given what's going on, the poor child would never get a name," the potential presidential frontrunner said Tuesday when asked what role Congress should play in naming the child. "It would be 'Baby' until he or she went to college and could probably choose it for themselves."

The comments were just one of many the former secretary of state has recently made voicing her displeasure with Congressional paralysis. She has previously said the gridlock is one of the dissuading factors in considering a presidential run.

Clinton again acknowledged she is considering a White House bid while delivering remarks at the National Council of Behavioral Health Conference. I just have to decide whether Im ready to do that, she said. So stay tuned, when I know, you'll know."

The conversation pivoted between light-hearted and serious, addressing a wide range of issues including the Clinton Foundation's work to prevent prescription drug misuse and gun control.

"We need to rein in what has almost become an article of faith that anyone can have a gun anywhere anytime and I don't believe that is in the best interests of the vast majority of people," Clinton said.

However the former secretary of state may have been most stumped when asked what her "guilty pleasure" is.

"I'm just trying to think of the, you know, G-Rated ones," she said while pondering the question.
