dealchecker.co.uk: Brits Look to Malaga for a Jubilee Bank Holiday Break

LONDON, March 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --

-Data collected by dealchecker.co.uk shows that when it comes to taking advantage of this year's extra four day weekend, Brits have their eyes cast to Spain-

dealchecker.co.uk, a leading online holiday specialist, say that many Brits are already thinking about how they will be spending the additional long weekend afforded to them by the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Customer enquiry trends for visitors to dealchecker.co.uk reveal that Brits are looking to use their extra time off to escape to sunnier climes, with flights to Malaga proving to be the most popular enquiry for the Jubilee bank holiday weekend. dealchecker.co.uk say that having an additional long weekend to play with could be making Brits more adventurous about where they spend their short breaks.

Mark Attwell, MD of dealchecker.co.uk, comments: "Malaga has been an enduringly popular holiday destination for many years, but on long weekends the tradition for Brits has often been to staycation. We here at dealchecker.co.uk think that the four additional days off in a row this year, brought about by the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, could be tempting Brits into jetting abroad rather than staying at home."

Although it was the stand-out destination for customer enquiries, Malaga isn't the only Mediterranean destination Brits are eyeing up for their long weekend. Flights to Faro, Alicante, Majorca, Tenerife, Bodrum and Ibiza also proved popular with visitors and dealchecker.co.uk say this could mark the start of a new trend for British travellers.

Attwell continues: "The dwindling cost of flights to Mediterranean destinations has been inviting more and more holidaymakers to head to the Med for their holidays, from long two-week stays to shorter jaunts for some weekend sunshine. As prices for flights and accommodation continue to drop, we foresee that more travellers will be choosing to spend their long weekends in exciting overseas destinations rather than staycationing."

TOWIE’s Sam Faiers To Show Bosses: Give Us More Men!

Newly single The Only Way Is Essex star Sam Faiers has pleaded with the shows producers to draft in more sexy blokes.

After splitting with her latest boyfriend TJ she's all ready to get back out on the pull but says that the ITV2 needs some new guys to sex up the new series, which starts in a month's time.

She told The Sun: "A lot of us girls on the show are now single so they need some guys. They can't just throw one guy in there, they need three or four as there are so many girls.

Sam: wants more men.

Yet not every prospective lothario need apply, Sam would like to get down and dirty with a builder, who is - shock horror - a Londoner rather than an Essex boy.

She said: I just want a really fit guy who is not a player. I would like a builder or someone like that; someone really hands-on and a bit grubby. I would like someone who has a bit more of a Cockney accent than an Essex accent. No hair gel but they have to have good teeth, good shoes, and smell good.

With tastes that specific, it's good that she's enjoying the single life while awaiting her beau. She said: "I need to be single. There is so much going on. I'm going away to Vegas and Ibiza. This year is my year to have fun."

Sam and the TOWIE crowd will barely be off our screens this year, with four series and a possible trip to Marbella. Sam confirmed: They are doing four series this year and there might be a Marbella special. We all want to get out to Spain!

The blonde who used to date Mark Wright and Joey Essex split up with latest boyfriend TJ last month.

Now she can't wait to go on the pull with the other single Towie girls. But there are no men on the ITV2 show who interest her and she has called on producers to find new talent before it returns in a month's time.

She said: "I reckon there should be a lot of fun in the new series.

"A lot of us girls on the show are now single so they need some guys.

"They can't just throw one guy in there, they need three or four as there are so many girls.

"If we had more guys it would be much more fun. I just want a really fit guy who is not a player.

"I would like a builder or someone like that someone really hands-on and a bit grubby.

"I would like someone who has a bit more of a Cockney accent than an Essex accent. No hair gel but they have to have good teeth, good shoes, and smell good."

Sam said of single life: "I'm not over the moon as I loved TJ and we got on so well.

"But I need to be single. There is so much going on. I'm going away to Vegas and Ibiza. This year is my year to have fun."

Geneva Show Debut For Seat Toledo Concept

GENEVA March 5, 2012: At the Geneva Salon, Seat is presenting the next phase of its product offensive in the form of a close-to-production study. The Toledo Concept combines the proportions of a classic saloon car with a sporty, almost coup-like design.

The next generation of the Seat Toledo is an exceptional combination of emotion, outstanding design quality and rational usability, as is immediately apparent from the Geneva study. Its design language is a further development of the now characteristic Seat design with a powerful and solid stance, clear and precisely-executed surfaces and lines, and with the new headlamp form that is a signature feature of Seats new design DNA.

But its striking design does not compromise convenience. Although presenting a saloon-like silhouette, the Toledo Concept in fact offers the spaciousness and usability of a five-door hatchback, within compact dimensions. The Geneva study delivers a very distinct view of the future the series-production version on which it is based will begin to reach dealers in Spain later 012.

At previous European motorshows, Seat has presented its new style language with the highly acclaimed IBE, IBX and IBL concept cars. The Toledo Concept at the 2012 Geneva Salon illustrates that design languages ongoing journey to a series-production vehicle. Not only will the new Toledo be exceptionally attractive, but it will also be exceptionally good value for money.

Measuring 4.48 metres in length, the new Toledo will offer a generously proportioned interior for five people, a luggage compartment of more than 500 litres and the convenience of a large rear hatch and folding rear bench. Thus, the future Toledo manages to reconcile perfectly the apparently incompatible combining an almost coup-like profile with the comparable functionality of an estate car.

James Muir, President of Seat, S.A. said: The Seat Toledo Concept illustrates our idea of the perfect mid-range car. It is an excellent combination of emotional design, top-level usability and dynamic driving characteristics.

The subsequent production model, our new Toledo, will write a whole new success story with its clear Seat identity, its excellent quality standard and exceptional value-for-money.

Following the Mii family and the new Ibiza, the new Toledo marks the next wave in our model offensive and growth strategy.

The Concept fun driving and usability in a compact format At a length of 4.48 metres, the forthcoming Seat Toledo is compact enough for city driving. With its spacious interior and generous luggage capacity, it is nevertheless well equipped for long journeys and family transport. The wheelbase of 2.60 metres delivers plenty of room for driver and up to four passengers.

The luggage compartment is exceptionally well-proportioned, with impressive volume and excellent usability. Although perhaps not apparent at first glance, the new Toledo possesses a large rear hatch for optimum loading. Finally, the folding rear seats facilitate a long load length and give the Toledo a functionality that is almost on par with that of an estate car. With the rear seat backs folded forward it boasts a maximum load capacity of more than some regular estate cars.
