Terrorists attacking Chinese nationals not to be spared: NSA – The News International

ISLAMABAD: National Security Adviser (NSA) Dr. Moeed Yusuf Tuesday said the perpetrators of terrorist attacks on Chinese nationals working in Pakistan would be brought to justice.

Moeed had a video call with the State Councilor, Minister of the Public Security of the Peoples Republic of China Zhao Kezhi. The two sides discussed regional peace and security as well as other matters of mutual interest. Both sides resolved to remain closely engaged over the evolving situation in the region and reiterated the importance of and their support to a peaceful political settlement and all inclusive setup in Afghanistan.

The two sides resolved that the all-weather Pakistan China friendship could not be undermined by third countries that try to target their bilateral interests. They agreed that the Afghan soil should not be allowed to be used against other countries by terrorists.

Both sides expressed satisfaction over the excellent bilateral relations between their two countries. Zhao said he was looking forward to visit Pakistan and meet Moeed once the COVID-19 situation improved.

Back to inspections at NSA sheep sale at Builth Wells – The Scottish Farmer

Rams offered for sale at the NSA Wales and Border sale, at the Royal Welsh Showground, on Monday September 20, will be inspected, following the easing of Covid regulations.

The veterinary inspection system which is unique and sets the sales apart from others, gives buyers added confidence in the huge range of tups on offer, the organisers said.

Chairman Graham Jones added: Our policy first and foremost was to get the sale back on. Were glad were allowed to achieve the usual high standards now that the regulations have been eased.

Every precaution will be taken to safeguard against Covid. Masks will be available as well as sanitisers and biosecurity. The inspection decision does of course remain subject to covid regulations

The inspection system was devised by Montgomery vet, the late Terry Boundy, who was invited to the early planning meetings in the 1970s. He had seen ram inspections in New Zealand and suggested training and then overseeing a group of inspectors in overall ram inspection.

He recalled that he had seen so many rams with major testicular faults that could be picked out with a physical examination. Often rams that couldnt perform had a good libido and appeared to be working.

Former NSA O’Brien: Every Serious Person Knows This Is Biden’s Disaster – The Federalist

Every serious person knows that President Joe Biden is responsible for the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, says Ambassador Robert C. OBrien, former National Security Adviser to President Trump.

For days, Biden has tried to pin the unfurling Afghanistan crisis on his predecessor. But OBrien insisted the Republican administration wouldve handled the withdrawal differently.

The first and obvious question, would this have happened had President Trump been reelected? host Hugh Hewitt asked OBrien on Mondays Hugh Hewitt Show.

No, look, it would have never happened in this manner. I mean, the President was committed to drawing down troops from Afghanistan, but when he left office, there were 2,500 American troops, importantly, 5,000 NATO troops. Kabul was free, OBrien said.

Look, domestically on both sides of the aisle, everyone who is honest who will talk to you knows that President Trump would have never presided over a situation like this. That goes for our foreign friends and our foes alike. President Trump was all about peace through strength and America first, he added. And I dont think anyone in an honest moment, whatever theyre saying now, believes that this could have happened under President Trump and the strength that he projected. And so you know, its a sad situation for America.

In addition to noting that Trump promised he would not preside over a Saigon-style retreat from Afghanistan, OBrien said all the civilians would have had to have been evacuated before withdrawing the military.

He was not interested in at all seeing our foes driving around in American-made Humvees or vehicles or getting access to American weapons. So you know, it was critical that he wanted all the equipment retrograded back to America before we left, OBrien added. And then of course, with the Taliban, any attacks on the United States which they have engaged in with our troops, failure to negotiate in good faith with the government of Afghanistan, those would have all been conditions that would have been, you know, slowed down or stopped withdrawal. So this wouldnt have happened under [Trump].

OBrien then called on Americans to pray for our soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines and the leadership of this country and implored the current administration to evacuate our friends, the interpreters and other enablers, locally-employed staff of the embassy.

Weve got to focus right now on making this evacuation work, as bad as things look, OBrien said.
