Back in 2009, Richard Williams answered a question regarding his absence from the media. The host asked if he has mellowed down now, as ten years ago he made a lot of headlines but not anymore. I dont make as many headlines because Ive asked parts of the media not to film me no more and I wont do [a lot of] interviews no more,hesaid.

Further, the 80-year-old said he can still make headlines if he wanted to. Also, he claimed that no one will refuse to take his interview if he asks for it.

Serena Williams made a shocking comeback to tennis after a long hiatus of almost a year. She will be participating in the Wimbledon Championship of 2022 and will start her campaign tomorrow. Addressing the media at a pre-tournament press conference, Serena clarified that she had never thought of retirement.

A reporter asked her if she came close to deciding to end her career during her long break. To which she said that she took a break as her body required time to heal from the injury.

Notably, the 40-year-old injured her hamstring, while playing in last years Wimbledon Championship. Although she has returned now, a lot will still depend on her fitness.

A STRANGE visual trick using photos of Adele, Kanye West and Barack Obama is boggling people's minds.

The trio are seen with their faces upside down - but everything turns a bit weird once you flip your phone around.

Their eyes, mouth and nose become amusingly distorted.

Psychologist Dr Julie Smith, who's appeared on shows like This Morning and Lorraine, revealed the odd test on TikTok.

"Check out these photos - you're about to experience something called the Thatcher Effect," she explained.

"Noticed anything strange?

"Now flip your phone upside down, have another look."

People in the comments were blown away by the apparent illusion.

"I almost dropped my phone," one user said.

"omg what the heck??," another said.

As Dr Julie explains, it is because of a phenomenon known as the Thatcher Effect - aka the Thatcher Illusion.

The term was coined back in the '80s when a scientist demonstrated it for the first time using a photo of former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

"It's a phenomenon where it becomes more difficult to detect changes in facial features when that face is rotated upside down," Dr Julie continued.

"The Thatcher Effect reveals to us something about how face perception works.

"Across the world there are billions of faces that are very similar but have subtle differences that make them unique.

"Now it's thought that our brains are fine-tuned to differentiate between all of those subtle features and differences but those processes rely on the structural configuration and the relationship between the position of different features.

"We're so well practised at mapping those individual features on a face that's upright but when that face is upside down we're unlikely to have that same mental mapping available to us and so we focus on the individual features but in the Thatcher Effect, in the upside down face the individual features look fine."

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry received a pretty important phone call following Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Thursday.

On the floor at TD Garden following the Warriors' championship-clinching victory, Curry, who had been named Finals MVP, took a call from the 44th President, Barack Obama.

Obama hosted Curry and the Warriors at the White House after their first championship in 2015, and he and Curry have golfed together as well. Still, Steph said it was "kind of surreal" to get that post-game call.

Here's what some fans had to say about Obama's telephone session with Curry.

In addition to his convo with Curry, Obama also tweeted his congratulations to the Warriors on Friday afternoon.

"With four championships in eight years, the Warriors leave no doubt of their place as one of the NBAs greatest dynasties," he wrote. "Congrats to Finals MVP Steph, Draymond, Klay, Coach Kerr and the rest of Dub Nation for such sustained excellence."

By the way, the Warriors have now won an NBA title under three different presidents--Obama, Trump and Biden. That's a pretty lengthy dynastic run if you ask us.

Imagine being asked by a former president of the United States to be the star of a television series. Well, that is exactly what has happened to the famed comedic actor, Will Forte. Forte is teaming up with former President Barack Obama for a new scripted series. This new series has a working title of Bodkin and sees a podcaster unraveling some dark secrets as he looks for his next story. This will be Barack and Michelle Obamas first crack at their own produced show on Netflix.

You are probably wondering how this even came to be, and that was honestly us too. Barack and Michelle Obama had overseen several unscripted shows on the streaming platform, and now they are moving forward with their own show. Bodkin is being produced by Barack and Michelle Obamas production company, Higher Ground, and their independent studio, wiip. Joining Will Forte in this new dark comedic thriller series are Siobhan Cullen, Robyn Cara, David Wilmot, and Chris Walley. The Obamas will be serving as executive producers Tonya Davis, David Flynn, and Paul Lee. It was created by Jez Scharf and will be run by Sharf and Alex Metcalf.

Bodkin follows Gilbert (Will Forte) and a group of podcasters who start to investigate the disappearance of three people in a coastal Irish town. When they begin to uncover the truth about the disappearances, things begin to get dicey. Gilbert is an American podcaster, whose family had emigrated from Cork, but had originally been from Chicago. He has likely traveled back to Ireland to get in touch with his ancestry there, only he finds more trouble than he had bargained for. He is joined by Dove and Emmy, who are two gung-ho podcasters that get roped into the trouble right alongside Gilbert.

Its quite interesting that The Obamas have gone from their political background right into creating entertaining content. That is quite a leap, and we are honestly excited to see where this new series goes. Netflix has clearly thought enough of the work that the pair had done previously and is trusting them to deliver on this new show. Higher Ground had previously worked on American Factory, which won an Academy Award, Crip Camp, which was nominated for an Academy Award, and Fatherhood, the hit drama that starred Kevin Hart. Will Forte is clearly in some great company, as all the three films listed have been hits among audiences. Forte is a busy man and so far, there is no timetable on when Bodkin is going to be released.

Will Forte is currently working on MacGruber 2, Strays, Wile E. Coyote, and Expiration Date, which is a mini-series. With so many films and television series on the way, it might be some time before we see Bodkin come out. The casting announcements have already happened, along with the production crew, which means that production should get underway soon. Should production start sometime in the next couple of months, we might be seeing Bodkin by mid-2023.

Barack is appalled Michelles glamming herself up and flirting with hot younger guys, a rat divulges. Its humiliating to him and something hes not willing to tolerate. Theyre yelling and screaming at each other the whole time and neither of them is backing down.

This report is absolutely ridiculous, and we have no reason to take it seriously. First of all, we debunked the Globes story about Michelles alleged crush on Hamilton weeks ago. As we said back then, a single photo of them hugging combined with anonymous tips is not enough to indicate any kind of romantic feelings on either side. And since the pair hasnt been substantially connected since the Miami incident, were confident this was all just pointless gossip.

And with the outlets latest tale, were absolutely certain there is no story here. There isnt a shred of evidence to suggest Michelle is currently or has ever sought out any kind of plastic surgery. This seems far less like the dedicated activist that the public knows and far more like typical tabloid fantasy. And when checking in on the latest news about the former first lady, there are no whispers of nips or tucks. From what we can tell, shes completely focused on her voter advocacy efforts ahead of the upcoming midterms.

So, were guessing her brief encounter with Lewis Hamilton last month is the furthest thing from her mind at the moment.

While this story is shockingly far-fetched, its no surprise coming from the Globe. Last year, the outlet reported Barack was grooming Michelle to run against President Biden in 2024. Then the magazine claimed Michelle was scaring off her daughters boyfriends. And earlier this year, the publication alleged Michelle was at the end of her rope and considering divorcing Barack. Obviously, were immediately skeptical of anything the Globe has to say about the Obama family.
