Rand Paul wants Fauci to ‘go to prison’ – WWJ

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) thinks that Dr. Anthony Fauci, who served as the U.S. chief medical advisor during most of the pandemic, should go to prison over his dishonesty in handling COVID-19.

Paul made his comments while speaking with The Cats Roundtable on WABC 770. Paul not only said that Fauci should be locked up, but also accused him of lying to Congress.

For his dishonesty, frankly, he should go to prison, Paul said. If you lie to Congress, and youre dishonest, and you wont accept responsibility. For his mistake in judgment, he should just be pilloried. He should never be accepted.

Paul went on to say that Fauci would not be looked upon fondly when remembering the COVID-19 pandemic.

History should judge him as a deficient person who made one of the worst decisions in public health history in the entire history of the world, Paul said.

The battle of words between Paul and Fauci is nothing new, as the Kentucky Republican has long argued against Faucis stance on how the virus originated, instead saying it came from a lab in China.

During the interview, Paul said Fauci allowed and funded dangerous research gain-of-function research, where you allow viruses to be combined, adding that he contributed to the deaths of somewhere between 10 and 20 million people.

Pauls comments on Sunday mirror what he said last year when he said without question Fauci should be in jail.

In March, Fauci discussed Pauls repeated criticism and attacks, telling CNN, Theres no response to that craziness.

I mean, prosecute me for what? What are they talking about? I mean, I wish I could figure out what the heck they were talking about. I think theyre just going off the deep end, Fauci said.

Rand Paul praises Trump, DeSantis, other candidates, announces he’s ‘never Nikki’ Haley – Floridas Voice

WASHINGTON, D.C. U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., complimented former President Donald Trump, Gov. Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy, while committing to be never Nikki Haley in the 2024 primary.

The announcement came after Paul had been hinting that he would make a comment about the 2024 presidential election cycle and the candidates that were running.

Ive had a long relationship with Donald Trump, theres a lot to like there, he said. Im also a big fan of a lot of the fiscal conservatism of Ron DeSantis. I think Vivek Ramaswamy has been an important voice. I also have listened to and met with the independent, Bobby Kennedy.

Im not yet ready to make a decision, but I am ready to make a decision on someone who I cannot support, he continued. So Im announcing this morning that I am Never Nikki.'

He encouraged people to go to NeverNikki.net to show that they arent supporters either.

I dont think any informed or knowledgeable libertarian or conservative should support Nikki Haley, Paul said. Ive seen her attitude towards our interventions oversees, Ive seen her involvement in the military industrial complex, $8 million being paid to become part of the team.

But Ive also seen her indicate that you should become registered to use the internet. [] I think she fails to understand that our Republic was founded upon people like Ben Franklin, Sam Adams, [James] Madison, John Jay and others who posted routinely, for fear of the government, they posted routinely anonymously, he pointed out.

And I think her failure to really understand that or to think that you should register through the government some how for the internet is something that should disqualify her in the minds of all libertarian-leaning conservatives. he said.

Rand Paul, like his father, Ron, has run for president as a Republican with a large emphasis on shrinking the size of government.

Sen. Rand Paul Teases Endorsement in 2024 Race – The Messenger

Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul on Thursday teased that he would make an endorsement in the 2024 presidential race on Friday morning.

"Hey everybody," Paul says in a video posted to his X, formerly Twitter, account. "As you know, I've been pretty quiet about the presidential race, which is kind of unusual for me, but tune in tomorrow morning and I've got something very important to say on the presidential race."

Paul's teaser comes just three days before the first-in-the-nation Iowa Caucus on Jan. 15.

The senator ran his own presidential campaign in 2016, but ultimately backed former President Donald Trump's bid and did so again in 2020.

Paul, who is a libertarian, met with Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, in the U.S. Senate on Wednesday. After the meeting, he praised Kennedy's skepticism of crony capitalism, I like his skepticism that large parts of the regulatory apparatus of the government have been taken over by big business," according to Politico.

The Kentucky senator also told Politico that he has met with most of the 2024 Oval Office hopefuls and was not yet ready to make his official endorsement at that time.

Rand Paul has been quiet regarding the GOP presidential primary race. But the Kentucky Senator has finally broken his silence on the matter.

Paul released a video and launched a website on Friday declaring that he is never Nikki Haley in the 2024 presidential race.

He made the announcement in a clip posted on X, in which he said has had a long relationship with Donald Trump and there is a lot to like there and that he is also a big fan of a lot the fiscal conservatism of Ron DeSantis.

Paul went on to say that he thinks Vivek Ramaswamy has been an important voice and that he has even listened to and met with the independent Bobby Kennedy.

Im not yet ready to make a decision, but I am ready to make a decision on someone who I cannot support, Paul said in a video address posted to X on Friday morning. So I am announcing this morning that I am Never Nikki.'

I dont think any informed or knowledgeable libertarian or conversative should support Nikki Haley. Ive seen her attitude towards our interventions overseas. Ive seen her involvement in the military-industrial complex.

Paul weighed in as Haley rises in the polls, particularly in New Hampshire, and positions herself as the main alternative to Donald Trump, the obvious front-runner in the GOP primary, instead of DeSantis.

Rand Paul debuts the Never Nikki movement and explains why voters shouldn’t support Nikki Haley – Washington Examiner

In a bombshell Friday morning, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) released a jarring video announcing that he does not support Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley and is officially Never Nikki. It was a startling rebuke of the former South Carolina governor by Paul. However, he made an excellent case as to why voting for Nikki Haley as president is a huge mistake and it starts with her political record on multiple topics.

Good morning, everyone. As I told you yesterday, Im ready to say something about the presidential race, Paul began, in a video he posted Friday on X, formerly Twitter. I had a long relationship with Donald Trump, and theres a lot to like there. Im also a big fan of a lot of the fiscal conservatism of Ron DeSantis. I think Vivek Ramaswamys been an important voice. Also, have listened to and met with the independent Bobby Kennedy.

Im not yet ready to make a decision, but I am ready to make a decision on someone who I cannot support. So, Im announcing this morning that Im Never Nikki, Paul continued. And if you go to NeverNikki.net, you can let her know that youre not a supporter either.

And, in true Paul fashion, the senator provides a detailed explanation as to why he cannot support Haley. He cited her record with the military-industrial complex along with Haleys previous comments about needing to register to use the internet. He painted the accurate picture of Nikki Haley that the Koch Brothers and establishment and Chamber of Commerce Republicans dont want the public to see. While others have rushed to propagandize Haley in an attempt to promote a candidate who wants to defeat former President Donald Trump, Paul preferred honesty over agendas and elaborated on Haleys record on various topics.

I dont think any informed or knowledgeable libertarian or conservative should support Nikki Haley. Ive seen her attitude towards our intervention overseas. Ive seen her involvement in the military-industrial complex, Paul said. But Ive also seen her indicate that she thinks you should be registered to use the internet.

This was a very powerful statement by one of the most influential people in the Senate. Its a perfect illustration as to why supporting Haley is tantamount to betraying many conservative (and libertarian) principles, including freedom of speech and liberty, core tenets of the founding principles of our country.

I think she fails to understand that our republic was founded on people like Ben Franklin, Sam Adams, Madison, John Jay, and others, who posted routinely for fear of the government. They posted routinely, anonymously. And I think her failure to really understand that or think that you should register for the government somehow for the internet is something that should disqualify her in the minds of all libertarian-leaning conservatives. So, Im announcing today Im Never Nikki.

Pauls rebuke of Haley is the latest example of his commitment to putting principles before politics. Hopefully, many conservatives and libertarian voters will heed his message and embrace the Never Nikki movement.Ultimately, it is what is best for conservatives, libertarians, Republicans, and, quite frankly, Americans.
