Crossing oceans of love: 4 times KDrama eommas expressed their love in the same way as Indian mothers! – PINKVILLA

Take a look at the mom-moments in K-Dramas that hit close to home, even oceans away!

While Mothers Day comes just once a year, moms dont stop acting like moms even for a single day. Might be bizarre, but it feels like moms around the world have graduated from the same Mom University. Because even when oceans apart, the K-Drama mother characters weve seen behave similar to what our Indian mothers are like with us!

Whether its when we fail, or when we pass, create havoc in the house or say no to a particular food she has made, the reactions we see on the shows make us go, Mom! Watch this. She does it the same as you!. It goes on to show how even if cultures differ, the love that mothers have for their children, dont. So, in tribute to Mothers' Day, were taking a look at some moments from K-Dramas that reminded us of our Indian mothers!

Ever-lasting conversations & the daily habit of sharing food - Reply 1988

Kim Sun Young, Ra Mi Ran and Lee Il Hwa play the amazingly ordinary mothers in this drama. The moments where they sit around in the evening, gossiping with each other, and sending their children around the block sharing different food every day, they reminded us of the adla-badli that happens in Indian neighbourhoods! In one of the scenes, they step out of the door to call children for dinner. But not normally, no. They yell at the top of their lungs - which was nostalgic to the brim. Ranging out from calling out once, to yelling several times, maybe all moms go through the same training?

Using a stick as the best beating weapon - Crash Landing on You

Ma Young Ae (Kim Jung Nan) is the Senior Colonels wife and top of the social ladder at the North Korean Military Housing. The scenes where she chats up her fellow mothers, bragging about their children are reminiscent of our moms spending time with others either while waiting for our exams to get over or at a PTA meeting, waiting for the teacher to call out our names. In one scene, where her son shows her his bad grades, just after shes bragged about getting him a highly educated tutor, is hilarious! The scolding she gives him, the way she runs after him and threatens him with a stick - reminds us of the (not so) good old days.

Helping out at home/for home, will prepare you for the future - Start Up

Choi Won Deok (Kim Hae Sook) plays the grandmother fulfilling a mothers role to Seo Dal Mi (Bae Suzy). Giving a young Han Ji Pyeong (Kim Kang Hoon) a roof over his head, nurturing him to an extent, plus taking care of Dal Mi, she is the grandmother every one should get. Especially the moments where she has Dal Mi working with her at the food cart, helping earn some income and even helping out at home, reminds us of the many times our moms tell us to help them out and we reluctantly agree.

Supporting their child by kicking them out Itaewon Class

Jo Jeong Min (Kim Yeo Jin) is the mother of Jo Yi Seo (Kim Da Mi). Shes a single mom who supports Yi Seo in living her own life. While she does kick her out after some time, shes always been encouraging of Yi Seo finding her own way in life, thinks about her often, and is definitely proud of what Yi Seo has achieved. She reminds us of the times when Indian moms fight with the very apparent societys judgements and restrictions, to give their children the best of everything.

To the ones who scold us but silently pray for us, to the ones who fight with us and with the world, for us, to every single kind of mother who stays irreplaceable, a very Happy Mothers' Day!

What are some moments in the K-Drama world that remind you of your mother? And what are you doing to make this day special for them? Let us know in the comments below!

Stock market seen improving over the next 1.5 months – Tehran Times

TEHRAN A capital market analyst says that TEDPIX, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), is going to improve over the next 1.5 months in comparison to the first 1.5 months of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21).

Rouzbeh Shariati believes reaching a possible agreement on the nuclear deal, the stability of the national currency, as well as the less attractive situation of the parallel markets are the important factors that would contribute to the improvement of the capital market.

Prospects of a political agreement and positive signals from Vienna have reduced the foreign currency exchange rates in the domestic market. The stock market, however, had already anticipated this agreement. In fact, the anticipation of the agreement has already caused the correction of prices in the capital market, the analyst said.

Unprecedented fluctuations in the Iranian stock market over the past few months have led shareholders, experts, and scholars to call for the government to increase its support for the market, some shareholders want the government to guarantee the return of their stocks, some believe providing infrastructure is the best way to help this market.

Following the rising concerns over the market conditions, in early April, the Government Economic Coordination Headquarters, in its 216th meeting, approved some new directives for regulating the stock market.

Also in late April, senior officials including the parliament speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Abdolnaser Hemmati, Finance, and Economic Affairs Minister Farhad Dejpasand, and the Head of Iran's Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) Mohammad-Ali Dehqan Dehnavi gathered at the countrys parliament to explore ways for supporting the stock market and resolving its current issues.

After the mentioned meetings, SEO unveiled a new directive package dubbed 7+3 which include allocation of one percent of the National Development Fund (NDF) resources to the stock market stabilization fund, lifting the ban on capital market financial institutions to use banking facilities, and granting five-year residency to foreign investors who buy shares in the Iranian capital market.

The above-mentioned directives have been implemented in the capital market as of April 27th, according to Dehqan Dehnavi.

In the 216th meeting of the Government Economic Coordination Headquarters, President Hassan Rouhani presented a report on the governments supportive measures for the stock market, saying: This year, which has been named the year of supporting production and eliminating obstacles, the government is trying to remove obstacles to the growth of the capital market and will try to encourage people to enter this market with the necessary training and arrangements.

In its latest supportive decision, the government has also approved to inject 240 trillion rials (about $5.7 billion) of resources into the market in the form of bonds which most experts evaluate as a positive measure. It is said that these funds are gradually injected into the market and help increase the liquidity until new resources enter the market.

It has been said that these resources that enter the market will also motivate shareholders, and therefore real investors will be encouraged to invest in the market.

How to create expansive content to benefit SEO and improve organic search visibility – The Drum

Whether its featured snippets, Rankbrain or BERT, Google is constantly evolving its algorithms ability to understand human language and intents. This has been seen through its various iterations and updates over the years, such as:

Quick answer boxes and featured snippets (2013): Featured snippets give users an immediate result to their queries, marrying up the impatience of modern search habits with the appropriate intent-matched result, providing a response to a given (typically question-type) query instantaneously.

Rankbrain (2015): Rankbrain was a new element of Googles core algorithm, which drove queries through an interpretation model, bundling several different factors together to deliver a result as close to the users true intent as possible. It was the first real occurrence of machine learning in Search.

BERT (2019): BERT is Googles neural network-based technique for natural language processing (NLP) pre-training. To put it in a less nerdy and technical way, BERT enables a better comprehension of search queries, the individual words used within them and how they influence what the intent of that search is.

From the very early days of marketing, we have studied and put into place some form of marketing funnel. In the instance of SEO, we can apply awareness, consideration and conversion.

When looking at entry points for users, brands are typically guilty of leaning very heavily toward conversion, slimming down further and further on the awareness side of the funnel. Although across a much larger number of terms with a much smaller search volume per term, typically the search value that can be achieved is higher in the awareness area, as it is almost infinitely expansive.

The benefit here is that you are not only creating content to cater for those awareness areas, but also content that will help to benefit the positioning of key terms within the consideration and conversion areas of the funnel.

The number one rule for creating content on any area of a website is always to take a step back and ask the question does this benefit my users and in what way does it benefit them? The primary objective is to get a user to access your website, find value in that entry and hopefully convert or generate a lead.

If a user is unlikely to find your content beneficial, they are not likely to be searching for what you are creating and, therefore, Googles algorithms are also unlikely to see the benefit in ranking your content.

But what else do we need to consider?

You may have identified that your content will be a benefit to your user, but is anyone actually actively searching for what you are creating?

Ensure that you have done your research around what users are interested in and the seasonality of those terms. If your term is highly weighted toward the winter months of the year, make sure that you are creating and releasing that content ahead of when it has its highest peak of the year so that it can be indexed and built upon.

Once this piece of content starts ranking, think about what benefit it will bring to your brand.

Creating a network of contextual links between content pieces and providing a journey toward conversion is just as important as the content you are creating.

This enables users to not only identify the next step of their typical query journey directly within the article that answers their initial query, but also provides a direct connection for that contextual content to crawlers.

This highlights further intent matching to search engines directly within your content, making it less likely for users to bounce and achieving what search engines really want giving a user all the answers they need from that first click or touchpoint.

Thats not all. There is a wealth of questions that users ask, and one question will likely lead to another so you want to make sure that your content strategies are catering for the widest range of questions that could apply to your offering, which leads us on to topical content clusters.

Within a topical content cluster, you will typically have pillar content and cluster content. In this example, lets say your pillar content is about SEO, you will then have relevant cluster content for SEO on your website, for example; what is organic search?, how does SEO work? or how to write SEO content. We then want to link all this content together in a way that is beneficial to users.

Through the adaptation of your content outlined throughout this article, we know that there are three primary areas which will benefit the digital portion of your business:

Expanded organic search landscape and targeting: Through targeting not only the pillar content, but wider and wider clusters of content associated with that initial topic, you will vastly increase the number of terms you can return for and the audiences that will see your brand. While the core topic will usually carry the largest search volume directly, the wider search opportunity will be almost as infinite as your audiences questions. Each article will provide marginal search gains, whilst also generating additional evergreen content that will likely perform and deliver for years to come.

Match intents across the marketing funnel for the audiences benefit: Providing not just a wider hub of content but also a linked journey through that contextual hub will enable users to fully understand a topic that they are researching or understanding. This means that you will not only return for Thomas the beginner but also for Scott the intermediate and Rachael the expert within a respective field. Each one will see your business as an authoritative voice and one theyll likely turn to for anything else they need. There are examples of these everywhere in search; IMDB for everything movies, TV and actors, WebMD to freak yourself out with anything medical or BBC Good Food for all your culinary needs.

Show search engines that you have (almost) all the answers: The most important one and why you are here is how is this going to directly impact your search rankings for your topics? Well, in doing this, you have provided a lot more information around that topic for Google to crawl and understand, providing far more context to your topic. So youve checked the content, context and language boxes for BERT and Rankbrain, and youre now more likely to return within those featured snippets.

However, alongside this we know users are at the heart of Google search and now we are also checking those intent boxes, meaning users are less likely to return to search for the same or similar queries as the answers are directly on your website therefore reducing bounce rates and creating more successful journeys direct from Google search.
