Pyongyang, November 20 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun on Thursday in an article praises leader Kim Jong Il for firmly defending Juche-oriented socialism and demonstrating the dignity and invincibility of Songun Korea before the world with his extraordinary political caliber.
The article notes:
Kim Jong Il, having the firm creed that Juche-oriented socialism is the life and soul of the Korean people, recorded an epic of patriotic loyalty to add glory to Korean-style socialism to which President Kim Il Sung devoted his whole life.
Thanks to Kim Jong Il's energetic leadership, the President is remembered by the people as the eternal sun of Juche and his revolutionary history is given steady continuity generation after generation.
Kim Jong Il had made ceaseless journeys of Songun with his iron will and superhuman energy since the day he started the Songun revolutionary leadership till the last moments of his life, dedicating himself to defending socialist Korea.
It is ascribable to his Songun politics that the country has embarked upon the road of building a knowledge-based economic power and has a solid foundation for surpassing the world level in all fields.
The history of his revolutionary leadership is shining as a sacred road along which he remarkably consolidated the unity and cohesion of the revolutionary ranks by firmly adhering to the theory of rallying around the leader.
No force on earth can break the unity of the Songun revolutionary ranks achieved by him all his life.
