IRFS KICKS OFF COMMUNICATION FOR DEVELOPMENT TRAINING
A three day training course on #39;Communication for Development #39; was kicked off in the Institute for Reporters #39; Freedom and Safety on Monday. The course is implemented in the framework of the IREX-funded Care and Share/Empowering Civil Society in Communication for Development project. The training is run by IMS program manager Gulnara Akhundova. The purpose of the project is to strengthen local civil society organizations #39;s "new" media technologies or techniques and improve public access to Internet and multimedia news and information platforms in Azerbaijan. The project will support the design and launch of at least 10 behavior change communication campaigns via a) design and facilitation of Communication for Development training and multi-media production training for civil society activists; b) provision of basic production equipment to five selected civil society organizations; c) design of a minimum of five websites in Word Press platform; and d) enabling production of at least 10 public service announcements / campaigns.From:ObyektivtvViews:17 1ratingsTime:01:20More inNews Politics
