About Richard Meyer: Richard Meyer is professor of art history at Stanford University. Prior to this, he was associate professor of art history and fine arts at the University of Southern California. He also directed the interdisciplinary Visual Studies Graduate Certificate program at the University of Southern California and the Contemporary Project, a multi-year initiative to forge new dialogues between the academy and the art world.
