Rashad Nashid, 37, was arrested Monday on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Police said Nashid fired a Ruger .380 pistol twice into the crowd after he left Nectar's at about 2 a.m. Nashid told police he had been drinking, and officers said he appeared to be intoxicated at the time of his arrest.
