Recruiting summary: A 6-foot-4, 290-pound defensive lineman out of Atlanta Pace Academy, Brown-Shuler committed to the Tigers over fellow finalists Colorado, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina, Texas A&M, USC and Virginia. He holds 37 reported offers overall. His primary recruiter at Clemson was defensive run game coordinator and defensive tackles coach Nick Eason. He is the eighth commitment for the Tigers in the 2024 recruiting cycle.
Scouting report: "A wide-framed space eater that can battle for gaps on the inside. Burst onto the scene as a youngster, earning top performer honors at the annual FBU Freshman All-American Bowl, and has been an impact player on varsity ever since for one of Atlantas top private schools. Measurements haven't been verified in a few years, but is believed to be hovering somewhere in the ballpark of 6-foot-4, 290 pounds. Has some surprising bend for an individual with his build as he constantly finds leverage and gets up and underneath blockers. Not the longest or most twitched-up interior player, but can offer some value as a pass rusher in certain situations and has plenty of experience working out of multiple techniques in a variety of different fronts. Overall, should be viewed as a power-based defensive lineman that can clog up run lanes and let linebackers get to the ball. Is already pretty burly and thick through the lower body, but likely still to go through a physical transformation of sorts once at the college of his choice as he continues to improve play strength." 247Sports director of scouting Andrew Ivins
Committed to: Nebraska
247Sports rank: 4-star | 90 rating | No. 232 Overall | No. 24 LB
Recruiting summary: A 6-foot-1, 225-pound linebacker out of Miami Columbus, McGahee committed to the Cornhuskers over offers from Auburn, Indiana, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse, Tennessee, UCF and West Virginia, among others. He holds 19 reported offers overall. His primary recruiter at Nebraska was defensive coordinator Tony White, while linebackers coach Rob Dvoracek also assisted in his recruitment. He is the fourth commitment for the Huskers in the 2024 recruiting cycle. In 10 games as a junior, he recorded 50 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, eight sacks, four forced fumbles, one safety and one blocked kick.
Scouting report: "A stand-up edge rusher with strong bloodlines that can get after the quarterback. Totaled 13 sacks as a junior while playing in one of the Sunshine States higher classifications and was credited with nearly two dozen more pressures. Size hasnt been verified in a few years, but is built more like a linebacker than a traditional defensive end. Might lack the desired reach, but makes up for his lack of length with his burst and ability to change directions. Experienced in hand-to-hand combat and can win with a handful of different moves out on the perimeter. Must, however, continue to keep evolving as a corner attacker if hes going to reach his full potential and learn how to bring it every single snap. Tweener measurables might not be for everyone, but naturally lower center of gravity combined with an adequate get-off is certainly promising. Could likely be deployed in a variety of different defensive schemes, but skill set might be best suited for a 'Jack' role in a 3-4 front. Will only add more value if he can drop back into coverage and consistently make a difference at the second level." Ivins

Scouting report: "Highly productive tackler with experience playing forward, but also over the top as a deep safety. Posted consecutive 100-tackle seasons as a sophomore and junior, plus five total INTs. Adequate height approaching 6 feet with a fairly stout build. Plays a physical style and hits heavier than listed size of 185 pounds. Tone setter as a tackler. Flashes impressive downhill pursuit speed and closes fast on a line. Plays aware and has shown rangy zone coverage ability. Disruptive at the catch point in contested situations. Best used playing forward as a downhill enforcer. Fits the modern rover/box safety/space backer archetype. Limited testing data suggest room to improve top-end speed and overall athleticism. Sophomore track reps were limited as well. Can improve redirecting suddenness in man coverage and recovery speed when asked to cover downfield. Power Five-caliber modern hybrid safety prospect who plays with a mean streak and corresponding physical nature. Could potentially become a quality multi-year starter, especially in the right scheme fit." 247Sports national scouting analyst Gabe Brooks

Scouting report: "Has an all-around skill set. Physical, willing blocker who gives great effort and shows functional strength already despite still having a lot of room to grow into his body. Has played split out and can run routes and catch the ball like a wide receiver. Shows twitch and quickness off the line. Changes directions well for a big man and can create separation as a result. Tracks the ball and catches passes away from his body very naturally. Did not post gaudy high school numbers based on his team's offensive system but has been a big-play threat for great program and does a lot of little things well. Has played more unattached and standing up than with his hand down but has the tools and skills to really play in any role in a variety of sets." 247Sports national recruiting analyst Allen Trieu

Scouting report: "Has verified size and a thick frame with ability to play at 290 pounds. Agile with an impressive sub 4.5 shuttle and sub 5.0 in 40 during camp in May. Played with low pad level and low center of gravity during in-person evals and on tape. Productive player with 12 sacks and 29 tackles for loss as sophomore. Played everywhere from nose to five-technique in 3-4 defense. Uncoils and fires off quickly at snap. Covers ground quickly in first two steps and gets up field in hurry. Shows strength and power throughout frame. Anchors well at point of attack. Can stack and shed and also fight through double teams. Active hands makes it tough for blockers to stay engaged. Very good body control. Re-directs well along line of scrimmage. Instinctual and reacts quickly. Plays with energy and effort. Can chase plays down. Has to continue to add size, mass and strength to play interior defensive line in college. Has to continue to develop technique and not rely so heavily on athleticism and strength. Has to make sure he remains assignment-oriented. Earlier contributor at a top-20 program. Early-to-mid-round NFL draft potential." 247Sports national recruiting analyst Brian Dohn
