Guest role on 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' up for auction Saturday

CAVE CREEK, AZ (CBS5) -

The CSI: Crime Scene Investigationshows are more popular than ever, with millions of viewers tuning in each week to watch another mystery solved.

But for one lucky fan, the CSI experience is about to take a "once in a lifetime" turn.

All you have to do is cough up some cash for a good cause.

The Triple R Horse Rescue in Cave Creek is holding its annual fundraiser auction on Saturday, Oct. 11, and one of the auction items will be a guest appearance onthe newCSI show - CSI Cyber.

"It's a big deal," said Courtney Olson,a board member withTriple R Horse Rescue. "We think it's a really big deal and we're excited about the new show. It's going to be a huge success, and the fact that one of our guests gets to walk on and play an FBI agent is very exciting."

It turns outthat the shows' creator, Anthony Zuiker, and his wife are big supporters of Triple R Horse Rescue, and are personally offering up the unique auction item.

The auction winner and guest will be invited on the set, get a small role in an upcomingshow, and spend the day with Zuiker.

They'll also be helping horses and other animals in need.

All of the proceeds from Saturday's auction go directly to providing food, medical care and training, to help the animalsget adopted, Olson said.
