Despite being one of the most popular and greatest singers of todays generation, Taylor Swift also had screen time on CSI. Her acting credit on the hit television show came before her fame skyrocketed. No, I dont mean her music videos.

Not only had she starred alongside her then-boyfriend Taylor Lautner for romantic-comedy Valentines Day, but she has also made guest appearances on television shows.

One of the most iconic probably most forgotten appearances was the time she featured in CBSs CSI: Crime Scene Investigation back in 2009.

Think back to 2009, and it may feel like forever ago. The now-mega superstar had an interesting beginning in her career. Some celebrities come from Disney, others from cameos. However, Taylor Swift shifted her career by acting as a murder victim on CSI.

However, she hasnt been the only popular musician to ever appear in the series. Justin Bieber and John Mayer also guest-starred as murder victims on CSI.

According to People, Taylor has always been a huge fan of the series and it was a life-changing experience that she will tell her grandchildren all about.

As a guest role in season nine, Taylor Swift interpreted the character of a teenager named Haley Jones.

Those who have known the Never Getting Back Together hitmaker from the beginning will know shes remembered for her persona of the All-American type of girl.

During her appearance on the show, she had followed her Wildest Dreams by trying something new.

According to Republic World, she told The New York Times her role as Haley Jones allowed her to be a little bit naughty, and credibly so.

I Knew You Were Trouble, as one of her songs says.

Her character Hayley, who appeared in Season 9 Episode 16, sees her thinking about a lost love. After the breakup Hayley is upset in her home as she deals with a difficult relationship with her stepmother. As her stepmother taunts Hayley over her appearance, they row.

However, it doesnt end well as her stepmother stabs her and leaves her for dead. The story arc forms a full circle as her ex-boyfriend discovers her body.

Written and produced by her, the singer remixed her song Youre Not Sorry for an OST in the series.

The song was about anex-boyfriendwho ended up being the opposite of what he appeared to be. It was perfect for the occasion since it related to her character, Haley, who became the victim of a murder.
