Workers began removing barricades and clearing an area on the edge of the pro-democracy protest zone in Hong Kong today, after a court ordered that the entrance to a commercial building be freed up.

Protesters have said they wont resist the court order, and many moved willingly to other areas of the protest site, which police have so far left alone.

Thousands of demonstrators, many of them students, have been in the streets for nearly two months demanding free elections.
