In a six degrees of Kevin Bacon kind of way, there is a direct link between Rita Repulsa and Hillary Clinton. And, no, thats not a derogatory comment. Rather, the two wildly separate but equally iconic (okay, not really)females have the same man paying their bills. That man is Haim Saban, an Israeli-American billionaire and media mogulwho, through his vast, strange life, did as much to bring the Putty Patrol into the TV lexicon as he did bring a woman within a few questionable percent of the US presidency.

The unconventional connection stems from the early Nineties, when Saban, under pressure from parents groups and then-Vice President Al Gore about the level of violence in his TV shows, befriended Bill Clinton. The two quickly bonded, and Saban has gone on to become one of the familys largest financial backers, contributing $11.5 million to Hillary Clintons presidential run in 2016,...
