The official Twitter account for the Republican Party tried to make an example out of Hillary Clinton on Wednesday.

She was not having it.

On Wednesday morning, the Twitter account @GOP went on a tweetstorm about health care, sending out videos of various Democrats criticizing the Affordable Care Act and asking how, exactly, they planned to actually fix it.

Our healthcare system is collapsing, but Democrats refuse to bring anything to the table. Wheres THEIR plan? one tweet read.

Several other tweets targeted former president Bill Clinton, Senator Elizabeth Warren, and Senator Bernie Sanders, to name a few.

Republicans were forced to regroup after several GOP senators said they did not support the bill, and during a meeting President Trump said a defeat could be OK.

But when they targeted Hillary Clinton, she fought back.

The @GOP Twitter account also sent out a video of Clinton with a quote of her followed by a question: Weve got to fix whats broken. Wheres your plan, @HillaryClinton?

She tweeted a reply Wednesday afternoon with a zinger and a link to her campaign website, which included her promises on health care.

The exchange comes as the Republican-controlled Congress is trying to pass a bill overhauling health care policy in the US Senate. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell had hoped to bring the bill for a vote before the July 4 holiday, but had to delay it amid waning support among some Republican senators, raising new doubts about whether President Trump and the GOP can deliver on their promises to repeal and replace Obamacare.

The delay also came after the Congressional Budget Office said the measure would leave 22 million more people uninsured by 2026 than Obamas 2010 statute just 1 million fewer than the number the budget office estimated would become uninsured under the House version.

As for Clinton fans? They took a figurative victory lap over the Democrats tweet.
