Review: Tinie Tempah at the Liverpool ECHO arena

Hip hop hero declared Liverpool was my best show so far.

With a set like an underground car park, it was hardly surprising Tinie Tempah soon had the Liverpool audience revved up and on full throttle.

Celebrating the last concert of his UK tour, the hip hop hero declared it was my best show so far.

Of course, the silver-suited dapper rapper would say that.

But he certainly seemed to be enjoying himself.

Promising the audience the best night of their lives, he danced across the age with more energy than your average aerobics instructor and certainly looking more stylish.

He opened with Im a Lover, Not a Fighter, sending fans into a frenzy.

Add to that a declaration that Liverpool was one of his favourite cities in the world and the audience was soon eating out of his hand.

He spread his set across his two albums: going back and forth from the first multi-platinum selling Disc-Overy to his latest - and the tour title - Demonstration.
