During the celebration entitled Tourism and community expansion, held on the World Day of Tourism 2014, the President of the Balearic Government, Mr. Jos Ramn Bauza and the Tourism & Sports Councilor, Mr. Jaime Martinez, offered a series of acknowledgments to tourism companies from the Balearic Islands. During the event, which took place on Friday 26th September in Palma de Mallorca, SIRENIS HOTELS & RESORTS received an acknowledgement for their dedication to service, defense and promotion of tourism, demonstrated throughout their many years of business.

This new acknowledgement is added to those given by important tour operators, one of which, the Russian tour operator Pegas Touristik, has recently given the prize to the best hotel chain. The prize was given by Boris Prlainovic, Product Manager and Markus Haack, Contracts Manager during the OTDYKH Leisure 2014 fair held recently in Russia, and was received by Ricardo Muoz, Commercial Manager (Europe) for Sirenis Hotels & Resorts.

Other awards recently received by Sirenis Hotels & Resorts have been the Golden Apple Awards 2014, given by Apple Vacations. Both the Riviera Maya resort the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa, and the Punta Cana resort - the Sirenis Punta Cana Resort Casino & Aquagames, received this award.

The Sirenis Hotels & Resorts management team from the Caribbean received these awards with great pride during the Apple Vacations Gala held on the 8th September in Chicago. These well known awards have great prestige in the tourism sector as they recognise the best establishments in the world, and particularly as they originate from the surveys, which Apple Vacations conduct periodically amongst their discerning clientele.
