An Arizona college student originally from Argentina was accused of committing "an act of war" after she posted a photo of herself holding her tax return and in the caption explained she's an undocumented immigrant protected by Obama-era immigration policies.

Despite not being a citizen or a visa holder, 23-year-old Beln Sisa is permitted to live, study and work in the U.S. thanks to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals act, which was implemented by Homeland Security in 2012 and allows undocumented people to remain in the country if they were brought here as children.

In a Sunday Facebook post skeptical of President Trump, Sisa lamented that she, as a DACA recipient, can't benefit from the hundreds of dollars she pays in taxes each year.

"I cannot receive financial aid from the state or federal government for school, I cannot benefit from unemployment, a reduced healthcare plan, or a retirement fund," the Arizona State University student captioned the selfie. "Oh and there are MILLIONS just like me who pay into a system they will never receive anything from. Wanna tell me again how I should be deported, contribute nothing and only leech off this country while the 1% wealthiest people in this country steal from you everyday?"

Immigrants may want to seek DACA extension, even under Trump

Displaying her 1040 tax form in the photo, Sisa capped off her post, "How about you show me yours Donald J. Trump?"

The post quickly went viral, with numerous Facebook users applauding her sentiment.

But others reacted with anger and insults, with some pledging to report Sisa to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency after incorrectly assuming she could be subjected to deportation.

Sisa posted screengrabs of some direct messages she received amid the backlash.

Undocumented immigrants share why DACA matters after Trump's win

"Reported you to ICE and Homeland security. Crime doesn't pay lady," one Facebook user apparently said.

Others hurled expletives and incorrectly accused her of being "illegal." One user called Sisa a "foreign invader" and threatened to "see to it" that she be deported.

"You really should have thought twice before you committed an act of war by invasion and thinking you have a right to a voice in my country," the user said.

Sisa expressed sadness over the harsh responses in a follow-up post.

"The hate is real," she wrote. "I am legally working in the United States through DACA, and I'm pretty sure the IRS isn't going to come after someone who PAYS their taxes. I feel truly bad for these people, may they find peace and happiness in their own dark hearts."

Contrary to Sisa, Trump has yet to release his tax returns becoming the first President since Richard Nixon to refuse to do so.

Trump has been ambiguous over whether he plans to restructure DACA, telling reporters last month that he plans to deal with children brought to the country illegally "with heart."
