Eight Illegal Aliens with Ties to ISIS Arrested Inside the U.S | FAIRUS.org – Federation for American Immigration Reform

In the latest alarming national security incident, eight suspected terrorists with ties to ISIS were arrested on immigration violations in a joint U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in conjunction with the FBI Joint Terrorism TaskForce.

All eight are Tajikistan illegal aliens who crossed the southern border last spring, including at least one who used the CBP One app. The illegal aliens went through the screening process by U.S. officials, but nothing immediately turned up, and as typical under the Biden administration, they were released into thecountry.

After the suspected terrorists were already allowed to roam free in the U.S., derogatory information was flagged regarding potential terrorist ties. This incident echoes a similar story of an Afghan illegal alien who should have been detained by DHS but was released from custody twice. He had suspected ties to ISIS but was not flagged during screening at the border, and the information only came to light after he was released into thecountry.

Part of the investigation into the Tajikistan illegal aliens was a wiretap in which one of them could be heard talking about bombs, saying, Remember the Boston Marathon [bombing]? Im afraid something like that might happen again orworse.

The Tajikistani illegal alien is not alone in the feeling that a horrific attack may be imminent. Just last week, FBI Director Wray told a Senate Appropriations subcommittee, Weve seen the threat from foreign terrorists rise to a whole nother level after October 7. Over the past eight months, Wray has repeatedly sounded the alarm about threats against the security of the United States that have seemingly fallen on deafears.

The Islamic State in Khorasan Province (ISIS-K) took responsibility for a terrorist attack at a concert hall in Moscow, Russia, and FBI Director Wray says, Increasingly concerning is the potential for a coordinated attack here in the homeland that issimilar.

The leadership of President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas has overseen a record number of terror watchlist encounters at our borders, and it is almost certain that an unknown number of national security threats are among the at least 1.8 million known gotaways who have entered the country without beingencountered.

Instead of using detention beds to detain these eight illegal aliens, they were released into the country in spite of the fact that they hailed from a country that is known to be a hotbed of Islamist terrorism. It seems almost weekly that Americans hear a story about illegal aliens who exploited open-borders policies getting busted inside the United States for terrorist ties, attempting to breach a military base or committing violent crimes.

The signs are there that something is going to happen, but our open-borders leaders are asleep at the wheel. The arrest of eight illegal aliens with ties to ISIS is precisely the kind of situation Director Wray has warned about. It seems this group knew each other before crossing the border, and the United States is incredibly fortunate no attack was carried out by them. It also raises questions about how many more potential terrorists have slipped through the net because the default policy is to release illegal aliens into the country unless officials find immediate evidence that they pose a threat to nationalsecurity.

The porous southern border is a national security threat. It may only be a matter of time before some horrific attack happens on U.S. soil, and if the attackers enter the country illegally under President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas, their policies will be responsible for allowing it to happen.Eight Illegal Aliens with Ties to ISIS Arrested Inside theU.S
