5 arrested in 7-Eleven robbery

Police News Wednesday, 30 January 2013 10:08 The Osceola County Sheriffs Office has arrested five Kissimmee and Campbell City men in connection with an attempted robbery at a Kissimmee convenience store.

The investigation began Tuesday shortly after midnight, when deputies responded to the 7-Eleven at 7925 S. Orange Blossom Trail. Deputies spoke with the clerk who said five males, later identified as Christopher Hokanson, Steven Dwyer and Colton Arnold, of Kissimmee, and James Alsen and David Thomas Brown, of Campbell City, entered the store and attempted to steal beer causing a confrontation with the clerk. One of the suspects had brass knuckles and attempted to strike the clerk before all five men left the store.

Deputies searched the area and located the suspects at RaceTrac, 1470 E. Osceola Parkway. As they were approaching the business, they observed one of the suspects involved in a physical altercation with the clerk.

Alsen, a registered felon, Hokanson, Dwyer, Arnold and Brown were all arrested, charged with robbery and booked into the Osceola County Jail.
