From schedules, lesson plans, homework assignments, events, activities, and so on. Many schools do not even attempt to place this information online due to it #39;s massive volume. I #39;m here to tell you that is about to change. Hi, my name is Matthew and I am the creator of Joomla in Education. Give me just five minutes and I will share with you the problems that schools are having right now and I how I can fix them. In the past, there was one webmaster that dealt with every single change that had to be made on the website. This is because web design had a very difficult learning curve. You had to know things like HTML, PHP, Adobe Dreamweaver, and graphic design just to get started. Then there are the advanced skill sets like Adobe Flash, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript and others that made you a true web master. Just bringing up these programs and languages makes me exhausted. Well, lucky for us, these true webmasters have made it easy on the rest of us. May I introduce to you the open source software called Joomla! All around the world there are master web programers that wanted to create the very best and easiest to use content management system in existence and make it freely available to everyone.
