St. Cloud High is in the market for a football coach again after Brad Lennox resigned Tuesday morning.

Lennox declined to give a specific reason for his resignation to Principal Nate Fancher.

"It was a series of little things during and after the season. I can tell you that it wasn't anything to do with effort. Anyone who knows me knows that I put full effort into the job," he said.

Lennox said he will address the team Wednesday.

Lennox took over the Bulldogs program in the spring of 2012. The former St. Cloud, Gateway and Osceola assistant coach vowed to bring consistency to the program, which has had five coaching changes since 2010.

Fancher said Athletic Director Mike Hague will lead the search for the next football coach. Fancher said he wants to solicit input from the faculty, booster club and community while making the decision.
