New Year’s Eve is prime time. Special menus, football fun, pub crawl kick off a long weekend of events

If it is has been a while since you checked out the Smokey Bones in Kissimmee (2911 Vineland Road) New Years Eve is a great time.

The restaurant, which features lots of TVs for bowl and NFL viewing, has a special holiday dining menu that includes the Signature Smoked Prime Rib, smoked in the restaurant over real hickory logs plus the Apple Pecan Crumble.

The prime rib is available in 10 oz. ($14.99) and 14 oz. ($19.99) cuts and includes two side orders.

The cozy, inviting atmosphere of Smokey Bones makes dinner even more special.

Save room for that dessert or order one and share. The Apple Pecan Crumble features cinnamon-roasted sliced Jonathan apples, toosed with carmelized pecans, and topped with butter crumble. It comes hot out of the hot served with vanilla ice cream. It is $5.99.

Both items will only be on the menu through Jan. 6.

Smokey Bones also accepts party orders for the holiday, including family packs feeding families as small as four persons up to 100. Office packs also are available.

The pack deals include items such as barbecue chicken, wings, St. Lous ribs, hand-pulled pork, beef brisket and baby back ribs as well as side items such as cold slaw, baked beans, mashed potatoes and gravy and fire roasted corn.

Now through March 2013, guests will get $25 for every $250 spent on pre-booked parties.
