Impact Returns to Houston Saturday

March 14, 2014 - Major League Soccer (MLS) Montreal Impact HOUSTON, Texas - Returning to the scene of the club's defeat in its first ever playoff game, the Montreal Impact head to Houston to avenge the 2013 knockout game loss this Saturday, taking on the Dynamo at BBVA Compass Stadium, at 8:30pm EDT.

The game will be broadcast live on TVA Sports as well as on the radio with CJAD 800. You can also get live updates using the newest version of the Impact mobile app or by following @impactmontreal on twitter.

Supporters are now able to vote for the Videotron Player of the game directly on its mobile app .

Head-to Head

This is the first of three regular season games between these teams in 2014. The two sides will also meet on June 29 at Stade Saputo and on September 6 in Texas.

Lasts season, the Impact and Houston Dynamo faced each other three times in the regular season and once in the MLS playoffs in 2013. In the first matchup on June 20, the Impact earned a fourth consecutive home victory at Stade Saputo, topping the Dynamo 2-0 on goals by Marco Di Vaio and Felipe. The Impact then shut out the Dynamo 5-0 at Stade Saputo on August 24, thanks in part to a brace by Di Vaio. In the third matchup, the Impact lost 1-0 to the Dynamo on October 4 at BBVA Compass Stadium. The Impact then fell 3-0 in the Eastern Conference Knockout Game, on October 31 in Houston.

Midfielders Justin Mapp and Patrice Bernier have both recorded one goal and three assists over their careers against the Dynamo

This will be the Impact's second game of the season after a hard fought 3-2 loss to FC Dallas last Saturday.
