Football Semifinal (Boys): On Easter Monday

Quarterfinal Results:

Host school of the 2017 Uganda Muslim Education Association (UMEA) games, Welden ejected defending champions, Masaka S.S at the quarter final stage on Sunday in Mbarara.

Welden outwitted Masaka 2-1 during an explosive quarterfinal engagement played at the St. Josephs Technical playground in Nyamitanga.

Kibuli S.S won their second knockout game via spot kicks to progress to the semifinals.

After eliminating Gadaffi Integrated School at the Round of 16, Kibuli once again required spot kicks to win the day 4-3 following a 1-1 draw with Kifuma Modern school at the quarterfinal stage.

Other successful quarter finalists were Kasawo and Bulo Parents who defeated Kakungulu Memorial and Gombe with an identical 2-1 score line respectively.

After the final draw conducted to determine who plays who in the semifinal, Kibuli takes on Bulo Parents at Kakyeeka meanwhile Kasawo will entertain hosts Welden at the St Josephs Technical playground in Nyamitanga.

Shortly after the semi-finals, the third place playoff matches will take place at Mbarara High playground before the final show down at the Kakyeeka stadium.

The tournament climaxes on Monday with respective finals in football (boys and girls), handball, volleyball and netball.
