Welcome to the Information Technology Department at Kennesaw State University! As part of the College of Computing and Software Engineering, the IT Department offers an undergraduate Bachelor of Science in IT (BSIT), Bachelor of Applied Science (BASIT - requiring a 2 year AAS degree from one of our Technical College System of GA schools), and the Master of Science in IT (MSIT). To ensure that our students receive the highest quality education possible, our curriculum incorporates various courses from information technology, and computing and software engineering focusing on meeting the needs of IT users within an organizational and societal context through the selection, creation, application, integration and administration of computing technologies.

Kennesaw State University's BSIT program is accredited by ABET, which ensures that the program has met high-quality standards as set by the Information Technology profession.

All of our degree programs - the BSIT, BASIT, and MSIT may be completed online. This is a wonderful alternative for those students who wont have time in their busy lives to attend traditional classes on campus, such as those who are in the military or outside of the Metro Atlanta area.

In addition to the BSIT and MSIT degrees, we offer certificate programs for those interested in taking graduate-level courses, but not obtaining an additional degree.

For more information about the programs we offer, please follow the links included within this website, or feel free to contact us by telephone at 470-578-3803, stop by Atrium Building office J393, or e-mail at itdepartmentinfo@kennesaw.edu. We look forward to seeing you soon!
