The Dallas Adult Chapter of the NSA is a great resource where adults of any age can meet and discuss stuttering related issues, life in general, and make lifelong friends that understand how difficult having a stutter can be. The TWST chapter is a group that focuses on stuttering issues that revolve around the teenage experience, such as dating, school, jobs, etc. The YESS group is a great way for children and their families to learn how to cope with stuttering in relation to school, growing up, and teasing. As the NSA motto says, If you stutter, youre not alone.

The National Stuttering Association is a non-profit national organization that provides support, friendship, and information to people who stutter and the communities that they are a part of. Over 3 million Americans are people who stutter and the NSA has a multitude of resources for children, youth, and adults. Information will be available during the open house about NSA. The National Stuttering Association Annual Conference is also coming up soon and will be held in Scottsdale, AZ July 3-7. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and meet other people who stutter. Information for the conference will also be available at the open house and can be found on the NSA website, http://www.westutter.org.
