Obama-linked US firm behind APC campaigns Party

A United States-based political strategy firm, AKPD Message and Media, engaged by the opposition All Progressives Congress to improve its electoral fortunes, is still active.

It was gathered in Abuja on Friday that the Chicago-based firm has been behind several of the partys campaign messages and strategy.

The firm is best known for its leading role in President Barack Obamas presidential campaigns in 2008 and 2012.

Somtochuwu: My man! This is why I respect you. Meanwhile, are you sure this their USA connection is not responsible for the trumped up figure of 2000 deaths in small community Baga? They may also be responsible for the entire recent international bad image being created of our dear nation.

I am not saying that Jonathans mistakes should be hidden or encouraged, but a sitting President wiped out an entire village in Nigeria, killing over 2,700 people including women and children, and no one heard it on CNN. But when terrorists abducted 230 girls the whole world caught fire. If this is true, APC must learn that painting Nigeria bad internationally has its negative effects that will haunt even the next administration. I suspect this is USA connection.

Ali Abdulkadir: Stop being economical with the truth. If, as alleged by you, 2,700 could be killed in Odi, why are you in doubt that BH killed 2000 in Baga? Is Odi more populated than Baga? The answer is NO. CNN showed satellite photos and everyone agrees that the extent of destruction in Baga is unprecedented. Also, the number of our girls kidnapped by BH was 276, excluding 53 who escaped. APC is not issuing news different from what is being circulated already by reputable news media. And finally, suspicion cannot be conviction. So get a life and join the progressives to help kick out incompetence from our polity.

Kay Soyemi (Esq): Somtochuckwu, I will not try and hold brief for either party because, in war, peace is the first casualty. Whether it is 150 or 2000 Nigerians, it is Nigerian blood for me. I know from looking at the satellite images of the devastation, that the death toll is almost certainly higher than 150. Further, the NA is infamous for downplaying casualty figures.
