World leaders, lawmakers react to shooting at Trump rally – Spectrum News NY1

Soon after presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was whisked away from a rally in Buttler, Pa., after an apparent attack, reactions, well-wishes and condemnations of the presumed attacker began pouring in from both sides of the political aisle and around the world.

At least one person was killed and the suspected shooter is dead, an official said. Trump is "fine" and being treated at a medical facility, per his campaign.

In a statement, President Joe Biden said that he is "grateful to hear" that Trump is safe and well and condemned the attack.

"Im praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information. Jill and I are grateful to the Secret Service for getting him to safety. Theres no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it," Biden said.
