Here comes a piece of big news! Twitter merges with Elon Musks X app. The X app is expected to be an all-encompassing platform offering social networking (Twitter), messaging facility, and more.

Twitter becomes X Corp.

Twitter has recently made an announcement stating that the firm has merged with an Elon Musk-owned everything app, known as X. Twitter disclosed in a court filing that the company does not exist anymore. The assets of Twitter have been merged with X Corp.

X Corp. is a privately owned corporation in Nevada. The principal place of business is in San Francisco, California. Elon Musk has been keen to build an application that is capable of offering all-encompassing features, close to WeChat in China.

Musk has long been determined to bring forward an application that would act as a super app for the United States. In one of his podcasts last year, Musk expressed that there are two possibilities; either Twitter would be converted to an application like such, or a novel application will be launched. Elon Musk made the reference to WeChat from China, an app that is actually an almost all-encompassing platform consisting of social networking, messaging, and ad payment system. The U.S. however, lacks such a platform till now. As per Elon Musk, 51, bringing forward such an app will be the next logical step for the United States.

Twitter's merger into X Corp. is an important step. This step shows that Elon Musk intends to move in the direction of his long-term vision for the business. It was in 1999 when Musk showed an interest in creating the Everything app. It was in this year that he co-founded X.com, an online bank. This online bank was later merged to create PayPal.The X app intends to be an application that is actually all-encompassing in nature. This means that it would come with not one but a myriad of features, including messaging, social networking, and a payment system.

Laura Loomer, a journalist who sued Twitter and many other social media companies, posted the legal filing that talks about Twitter merging into X Corp.Other attorneys like Michael Gottlieb, Kristin E. Bender, Jonathan Patchen, Yuhan Alice Chi, and Meryl Conant Governski also signed the legal document.Laura Loomer has sued Facebook and Meta Platforms, along with their CEOs. It was in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California San Fransisco Division that the racketeering case was first filed on May 2, 2022.Joshua Webb, Twitter attorney, too showcased documents to present that Twitter, Inc. has been merged into X Corp. and does not exist any longer, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Miami Division.
