Celebration Performance Given by Agricultural Workers

Sukchon, October 6 (KCNA) -- Members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and agricultural workers staged a performance "Hurrah for Workers' Party of Korea Resounding Forth from Cooperative Fields under Socialism" at the Yoldusamchon Farm in Sukchon County, South Phyongan Province on Monday.

The performance was given on the occasions of the 17th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the 69th founding anniversary of the WPK.

They put on the stage such colorful numbers as poem and chorus "It Is October", female solo and chorus "Long Live the Workers' Party of Korea", dialogic poem "We Can't Live without Your Care" and male solo "Voice from My Heart".

The performers sang high praises of the undying exploits President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il performed by founding the Juche-type revolutionary party and developing it into an invincible guide for the Songun revolution.

Female trio "Land and Peasants" and peasant dance "Hurrah for Workers' Party of Korea Resounding Forth from Cooperative Fields under Socialism" truthfully represented the stirring realities of the country which has turned into a socialist fairyland under the most experienced and tested leadership of the WPK.

Repertoire included choruses "Glory to Our Great Party" and "We Know Nobody but You".

Among the audience were Ri Myong Gil, chairman of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, officials concerned and members of the union and agricultural workers of the county.
