Cake & Revolution WI is hosting a Mad Hatters Tea Party at Ipswich Library on Sunday, June 11 from 6pm to 10pm.

The event, which is for adults only, will raise money for Suffolk Libraries and the WI charity.

It follows the success of its takeover of Ipswich Museum in March, which brought in 4,000 for Lighthouse Womens Aid, a Suffolk cause that supports women and children suffering domestic abuse.

Organisers have promised a night full of surprises, as well a bar arranged by Beer & Co, nibbles, croquet and entertainment.

Member Miranda Acres said: Our guests will be led this way and that way as our evening becomes curiouser and curiouser!

Attendees are asked to wear their maddest hat.

Tickets are 12.50 and are available online or in person from Lady Norfolk & Lord Rust, 30 Queen Street, Ipswich IP1 1PS.
