Roaring River State Park will be hosting a Mothers Day Wild Tea party Sunday, May 14, and the entire family is invited to this free and casual event.

Tea will be poured at 11 a.m. in front of the Nature Center along Highway F near Campground 3.

The forest is full of interesting plants that have had many uses throughout history.Join in to sample teas and beverages made with, or inspired by, wild edible plants.

There will be a discussion coveringhistorical uses of native plants while enjoying their interesting flavors.Leave with a few recipes to try at home and a new appreciation for our local flora.

Roaring River State Park is located at 12716 Farm Road 2239, Cassville. For more information, call 417-847-3742.
