BULLHEAD CITY Larry Schiff will be the guest speaker at the next Colorado River Tea Party Patriots meeting, 1 p.m. Saturday at the Mohave County Library, 1170 Hancock Road, Bullhead City. The topic: why capitalism works without dispute.

Schiff is a psychiatrist and has been a Kingman resident since 2000. He has been the director of psychiatry of six jails and the Arizona State Prison in Kingman, as well as a consultant for the courts.

I have been a conservative/libertarian almost all of my life, except for a brief flirtation with liberalism during my impressionable college years in the 60s, Schiff said.

Schiff is the president of the Conservative Republican Club of Kingman, formerly the Kingman Republican Mens Club, a tea party group.
