‘Gates of Hell’: Fox News Pairs Ann Coulter with Unfortunate Chyron

Before Ann Coulter appeared on Fox & Friends this morning, the show teased her appearance with an unfortunately hilarious Chyron graphic on screen. As Coulter strode down the hallways of Fox News to the set, the words GATES OF HELL appeared below her. Of course, they were referring to former Defense Secretary Robert Gates new bombshell book, Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War, but thats not what it looked like:

After a commercial break, host Elisabeth Hasselbeck introduced Coulter as a Fox News contributor, which led to another awkward moment.

Thats very nice of you, but Im not a Fox News contributor, Coulter said, despite her frequent appearances on Hannity and other programs. In fact the only network to ever employ me was MSNBC.
