Rota-virus, the silent killer



http://www.ntv.co.ke For more than 3 decades, millions of children worldwide have continued to succumb to rota-virus, a viral infection that is mainly characterized by vomiting and diarrhoea. Despite the sickness being preventable the vaccine continues to be out of reach for many parents in Africa, where one child is said to die from the disease every minute. However, now African health experts want rota virus vaccines included in the national child immunization programmes to help contain it.
