Win Vista/7 Tutorials for Beginners: Antivirus pt.2 Ultra Virus Killer (UVK) – Video

21-01-2012 12:10 This is part 2 of my antivirus tutorials. In this tutorial I show you how to install, and run Ultra Virus Killer (UVK). UVK is not a real-time scanner, I would not recommend running more than one antivirus with real-time protection. If you run more than one, they could conflict causing incomplete or slow scans, it could also effect the performance of your computer. UVK is an awesome piece of software from Britec, they have a lot of great tutorials, their channel name is Britec09. UVK comes equipped with 5 different antiviruses, Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware, Hitman Pro, Kaspersky TDSSkiller, and combofix. With the exception of combofix, all antiviruses automatically update, scan, and remove the malicious software it has caught. UVK is also loaded with a lot of other troubleshooting, monitoring, optimization, and system repair tools. If you decide not to try out UVK, I would suggest going to Cnet.com and downloading Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware, they are both great antiviruses that I would not run without. Again, none of these antiviruses run in real-time, so you don't have to worry about conflicts with your real-time scanner. Because UVK is such a great program to use, I will be making a video that covers just this project, walking you through the many tools that Britec has provided for us. If you like my videos, please give a thumbs up. Don't forget to subscribe so you can be updated when I upload more tutorials. Thank you for watching, I hope this video helped you ...
