There are so many options that companies have when it comes to getting the word out for new product releases. Some products launches may just consist of a small press announcement, while big ticket items usually include an invite to selected members of the press that can then spread the word further to their audiences.

Samsung is gearing up for their Galaxy S4 launch. Its a given that this will be a big launch, but in Samsungs eyes, this may be their biggest device launch this year. As a result, theyre not satisfied with just letting the press having first glimpse of the device and so they are making their announcement very public. When the Android phone press announcement takes place at Radio City Music Hall on March 14th, Samsung will host a simultaneous event in Times Square in New York City.

If you live in New York and want to be part of the live action, head on down to Time Square at 7 P.M. local time. Your other option of course is to stay close to a computer and watch the events unfold live on the Internet and Im sure there will be a number of first opinions available for consumption shortly after the S IV announcement.
